shiny barrels?

Is there any way to make a barrel less shiny? The barrel i want is all shiny and mostly porting is there any way i can make the gun less shiny?

tanke electrical tape and wrap it around it. mark where the porting holes are nd poke them out with a toothpick. there really isnt a need unless you are a die hard sniper

for what? the porting holes, or making your barrel "less shiny"? the only thing I ever hear is "All I saw was you barrel." Damn shiny stainless steel.

i have never been shot because my barrel is too shiny and i play in the woods. i wouldnt try it cuz if you mess up than youll have to take the tape off and youll get all that stickey crap on it, also the stickey stuff be be on their if you even wanna take the tape off

Why don't you just wrap some camo cloth around your barrel. That will camo it(duh) and you can always take it off later without having "sticky stuff" left on your barrel.

Last time I played in the woods a guy tryed to secretly flank me and the only reason I saw him was his shiny barrel bobbing through the trees.
