I need to know if there is anything I could do to make it so wet weather won't effect the compact because I live in Miami Florida and am going to get the compact. Can I just tape the grip or something? Thanks

Try getting some silicon sealeant and put a bead around the handle (tub and tile type stuff). It is obvious that the electronic trigger is not sufficient in weather proofing, but the tape would ruin the looks of a cool gun.

okay, first of all the compact sucks. if you dont want to spend more than 100 bucks on a gun buy a spyder, especially since you live in a humid climate.

hey dixie, thats pretty ignorant of you. not everyone likes spyders. and draguns are built with a higher quality than spyders are, theyre manufactured in the usa and have a titanium sear so it doesnt wear out. if you can give me one good reason other than "draguns suck" why he should have gotten a spyder, i will shut up.

your dragun should be fine without having to put anything to seal up the gun, electronics today are built pretty solid when it comes to moisture

You shouldn't have too much trouble as long as you stay out of the rain. I have heard some horror stories of chips frying though.

First off Dixi Normous never siad "draguns suck" he said compacts suck and i would agree, its not worth 80 buxx i would choose my spyder compact over bd compact ANYDAY. So AngelsHolocaust get your s*** right b 4 you type.

thanx for backing me dragun, thats exactly what I meant. I love my E-2 and my friend has a basic that is sweet, but in my experiences the compact blows. I also own a spyder compact which is better for several reasons. First of all it has an alluminum trigger frame. Secondly it is not limited to 10 bps, its however fast you can pull your finger. I have gotten mine to 12 before. It is also way more reliable. sometimes with the dragun compact you will shoot and the solenoid will click but the gun wont shoot.
