DUMB ARSE NEwbies

I went to the local field with a couple of my friends, the first two games went well. All hell broke loose when the Squids(newbies) came to the field.. I mean there are smart newbies these ones where just totall dumb asses. My and 2 other friends guarded one entry to the base. while all 5 newbies follow us leaving the back totally open for a ambush. I was tempted to light em up myslef they were so stupid!!!!!!!1

i know that newbies sometimes get you annoyed...but why be so angry and post about it in a forum? what purpose does that serve? especially a newbie forum. now a newbie reading this might be scared they're gonna mess upi and get shot be their own team and not wanna play. dont be scared...most people arent like that!

If you are such an expert why didnt you direct them? Some older guys kinda took me under their wing when i started, now they always want me to paly with em. Its always fun to take charge and whip the new guys into shape also :-).

I bring new people into this game all the time.I try to help and explain stuff all the time. I don't get upset when they make a mistake. And I don't put them all together and tell them to watch my back.
We mix them with people that have played awhile. Its like this you shoot them up every game they wont play there no more. Sooner or later there wont be anyone there to play the game then you screwed

smart newbies - just fine

then there are

smart pros - ok
dumb pros who think they are better than everyone else and talk down to newbies who are trying to become smart -- HATED.


so don't be mean to the kids, if you keep telling them they are idiots the will either quit or be so afraid of screwing u won't do anything to becom better. Give the kids a compliment.

When was the last time your teacher made fun of you because you didn't remember the pythagoreum therum (sp?).

When I first started out i was afraid of these people w/ big shiny guns that shot really fast.In one game this guy waylayed me.Afterwards he told me what i did wrong and what i should do next time.Now that ime alot better now i really respect him for that.Now i treat newbies like i was treated w/ respect not like a piece of crap. I just played a woods game last weekend where i was in charge of some newbies. That was my first time and they listened really well. One even thought about getting serious w/ the sport which in fact probably could have been his last if he was treated wrongly. Lay off and give friendly advice

By the way Paintball Newbies have it easy as hell when you compare them to how we treat Mt Biking Newbies. lol. man we can do some nasty stuff to them like leading them to double black diamonds. lol. well any way my point is that paintball newbies like myself are treated d*mn nice for being the squids that we are.
