What i mean to say is that a 'Cocker is a Closed bolt gun, and a Tippman is a Blow back gun. HAHAHAHA you can't compare those two!! On a scale of 1 to 10 between the two guns, a cocker would be a 10, and a tippy would be a 3! sorry bro, don't call yourself "cockerking" if your gonna ask dump@$$ questions like that! If you are THE cockerking then you would know the answer! Plz don't ask a question that illiterate again! Unless you were trying to get people to call you "stupid" (oh, sorry i fell for it!), which you were highly succeful at, then try sumpin else! Plz!

LOLOLOL on you hardcore , wannabe airmechanic cocker owners that is , i've had both (and many others)and still have both , I lend my cocker out to anyone thats short a marker and I always take my m98 or airmag or spyder compact 2000. 80% m98/ 20% airmag them cockers way overated actually , its slow on recipro. and too many exposed moving parts and lines and cr*p. Seen way too many $700 cocker rigs sitting in the back of pickups along with their pissed off owners watching everyone else have fun. There some basic facts about pneumatic mechanics and distance/time physics that you goobs don't understand about cockers. But they do lookey neeto. Don't matter what marker you have or how much money you waste on it , just as long as it shoots at least 7bps sustained without breakage is what matters, whether its $59.99 or $1999.99 is irrelavent.

I love these "holier than thou" cheap gun owners. You know, the guys who think their Spyders, Tippmans, and Stingrays kick the crap out of every electro in existance, any cocker, shocker, angel or any other gun on the planet. What is it that puts a person so deeply into denial that they think this? You'd think it should be expensive gun owners rubbing it in everyone's face that their gun is the best, but it's always these kids with blowbacks that they tricked out "I put an expansion chamber on mine! totally tricked out and custom now!" bragging about how their guns can kick any other guns ***. Like we're all stupid for buying expensive guns but they arent. If your cocker isnt working, it's because you dont know how to use it. An airmechanic is someone who works on airplanes btw, maybe you're thinking "airsmith" when you call everyone a wannabe. Get a life you little punk, you're giving people who own inexpensive markers a bad name. Tippmans, spyders and the lot of em have their place, and they are fine guns for their purpose, and a kid with a blowback can be better than a guy with an angel, but when you want the most in consistency, ROF, and reliability, it's time to upgrade. i dont use either gun much but ive shot both,and all i can say is that there was a big match this weekend and there was alot of tippmans and spyders there 2 people had autocockers
and when they were working they were awsome but in the end
BOTH autocockers were chopping paint and the guys were pissed because the little kids with the cheap markers were still playing and they were watching. but just my two cents
the new 32 degree tippman em98 is awsome its electronic
low pressure and fully neumatic it works really and is accurate and fast as hell so i say use whatever your comfortable with and have fun

Fully pnuematic? How is that even possible with a tippman? You'd have to drill out alot of extra holes as well as put on a second regulator, and totally redesign the hammer for an M98 to work without the main spring

Why debate it? You can have the best of both worlds. You can get the Flatline Autococker! One of the best guns and the best barrels combined.

Yeah but with the flatline, you gotta have perfect paint barrel match or you have on POS barrel on your gun, that not only looks ugly but is now useless. Backspin was a cool idea, but adjustable bores like the CPs and Freak barrels are where it's at

Both of these guns are good in their perspective ways. In tournament play, there is probably no better gun on the market than the cocker to pull straight out of the box and play consistent tournament pb without electronics or add-ons. In rec play, a M98 with a flatline will rule the school. Rec play has greater spans and the flatline fills that role perfectly. I have a M98 with a Bigshot (remind you i play rec ball), and i wouldn't have any other gun. I have a flatline, but don't like campers or being one. I like to brag when i take out the flatliners! I have shot rainmakers, mags, and autocockers in REC play, and nothin compares to the flatline M98. However, caught in a tourney, i would definately want a "cocker" in my hand, ;)
