LP questions

my friend was wanting to get the tippmann comp air lp system, and i was like wait a minute you could prolly get a better gun/low pressure if you bought some different parts and not in like a package deal so you could get exactly what you want and the best of everything. am i right, i need some help on this one basicly because idk much about tippmanns, cause i have a spyder.

Guns like spyders, tippmanns, draguns, etc. all run off of very high pressures in the 800 to 850 psi range. Thats not neccessarily a bad thing, although you will tend to chop more and consistancy might not be as good as a gun that operates on a lower pressure output. The Tippmann lp package, if im not mistaken, will drop your pressure to around 300 psi.

Now if your question is whether you can get a different gun that will lower your operating pressure below what the tippmann lp kit will, then the answer is yes. Most electros run at lower pressures than that. Impulses and shockers run around 150-180, matrices run at about 110-120, and im pretty sure vikings run even lower than that.
