It depends, if the BE balls are fresh they will work great. If they are old they will be about the same as seconds.

I would have to say go with the seconds Brass eagle paintballs have just done me so wrong... I have bought
eagle painballs so many times and been so disappointed
with their performance they can transform a nice accurate gun into a first string pitcher for the new york yankees only it can't throw any thing other than a curve.

Yeah and I guess that seconds are like 5000 for 40 bycks on this one sight, but how bad are they, really?

 BE or Seconds ... hardly a choice. By nature, seconds are the paintballs that didn't pass the initial quality inspection. Too large, too small, too brittle, too soft, seam didn't join correctly, etc. By nature, BE paintballs just SUCK. Example: MuckRaker goes to store to get some Cheap paintballs. BE case for $30. I ask the dude working in the Sporting Goods department how long those BEs have been sitting on the Shelve, he looks at me and says "Maybe a Month, maybe a day, maybe five minutes ... How should I know."

Moral ... Don't buy cheap Paintballs from any company with Mart in the last half of its name.

well thanks muck, i guess, i didn't really get your point, my question was what do you think i should get, not can you give me a confusing story with a strange and useless moral.

:(So sorry to confuse you ElectricHead. My point is simple, Don't buy either. You'll be frustrated with the performance of seconds and BEs. If you're going to spend money, spend on something that works well. PMI, RPS or Zap. I don't know where you buy your paint, online or local store, but PMI premiums aren't that expensive, Case for about $65 online (local stores, depends on where you live). I've seen Zap paintballs for less online. I'm still not technically answering you're questinon, But I'm giving you the best advice I've got.

If you want crappy paintballs, BE is definitely the way to go.

Incase you didn't notice, bringing up very old threads was out when Cuervo (I think it was him/her/whatever) left. Infact, it was out while he was here.
Translation: Please don't bring up 4 year old threads to make recomendations to someone who's problem has undoubtedly been solved.
But, if you ARE looking for cheap paint, Big Ball is probably the lowest you can go for good pricing with good quality.

Cuervo is one of the most awesome guys evar.
Anyway, bringing up 4 YEAR OLD threads is bad.

You brought this up to post that?

I think we should just start banning members who do idiot things like this.

I can't wait to the, "Oh, I'm so sorry! It was an accident, I didn't mean to post in a 4 year old thread!" excuse.

After all these threads started on helping you get a gun...you revive a 4 year old thread? And all the PM's you sent me. It's people like you who ruin this site which used to be Ok. Now all we have are morons like you starting 4 threads about the same thing, which gun to get, and reviving threads. It's not funny it's just annoying.

EDIT:

The big questions are...how did you even find this thread, and why were you looking for it?
