I'm looking for a gun that is designed similat to a spyder. I don't want to feeder to cross over the sights though. and I'd also like to be able to put a forgrip on the front somehow. A forgrip like a rifle forgrip, not a tommy gun forgrip.

Basically I want a small gun where the feeder doesn't cross over the sights. One that I can attach the tank where the ex chamber goes. And one that I can attach a forgrip.

Any suggestions? Oh, and I don't want to spend more than $200. I'd also prefer one where the only mod I have to do would be the forgrip.

Sounds like you want a tippman pro/carbine, though they aren't designed like Spyders, they fit the description of what else you want

I want a small gun like a Rebel or a spyder.

He said he wanted a rifle not an assault pistol. He's talking about a shroud like on cockers and m98's with flatline and pro/carbines. The minimag shroud is not a foregrip just an extension of the bodu with venting in it, kinda like a flash surpresser on real rifles and machine gun.

Get a stock cocker and leave the shroud on

Find it for 200 bucks and you can mark me down for one as well ;)

Actually, look into the VM-68. The tank is the foregrip, and the Spyder design came from it

trracer s/a, spyder vertical bottle adapter, saw off the bottomline adapter, buy a 3 dollar foam grip that fits on your barrel

that sounds perfect for what u want, if u want the grip on the barrel i would suggest keeping the bottomline, its hard to hold if u have a vertical tank.

plus that will cost about 60 dollars

I dunno, but I use my Boomy as a foregrip (the silvery part that says "Dye" works perfect =D

A spyder without the bottomline/expansion chamber, with a forgrip similar to an autococker or even the pro-carbine, without the feeder crossing into my view. That is what I'm looking for. I don't want to spend over $200 and I don't want to have to deal with upgrades. I'm not picky about the performance of my gun. If it doesn't leak, double shoot, jam, or break balls, then it's good for me. I had a 32 degrees Defender that was good. I took the bottomline off and screwed a 4oz tank in going down vertical. That way I don't have the tank/stock getting in my way. I don't want to hold onto the tank though. I want to hold a forgrip where the barrel is. I also didn't like the Defender because, like so many other guns, the feeder crossed from the right to the left into my shooting view. THE GUN HAS TO BE AS SMALL AS A SPYDER! I don't think I want an autococker either. Don't ask why.

Now, any ideas that might fit my description? Post a picture and the actual gun name in CAPS. Maybe even post a URL where I can look into it.

Thanks.

Why not get a BKO?
And why dont you like Autockers?:D

I think Autocockers and automags are all overrated. I've used a number of pball guns (not enough to know what a BKO is) and the best ones are the ones that don't have the problems I mentioned above. Why would I wan't to spend $400-$600 on a gun when I can pay $100-$200 for something that performs just as good for me?

A BKO is a cheap bushmaster, you won't want it, it's big and has vertical feed.

Have you looked into a tippmann 98 custom? you can make it so you mount the co2 vertical, for about 15 dollars, I think. AND, I'm sure if you look, you'll find something to use as a foregrip. or make one...

VM-68, hopper right, you can use the tank as a foregrip, and it's pretty rugged.

Well, R/F Autocockers are $300 now, I don't see how that is much more money than you want to spend, and it WILL perform better than whatever else you decide to get.

I don't play serious paintball. I don't want to spend more than $200. I highly doubt I'd be happy with my purchase if I bought a cocker or mag. Oh, and tipmans are too big. I thought about a 98 custom but it's too long. I want something as small or smaller than a spyder. VM68s are too big too. My brother had a couple and they didn't last very long. Maybe he just didn't take care of them, but they are too big anyway. I need something small so I can run with it easy and srkunch up into a little ball so I can't get hit.

well, seriously, you should go for a spyder compact; the powerfeed isnt that bad, and it's as small as you're gonna get unless you go for an automag.

you can get a s/f mag for just under $200 used with barrels, nitrogen, new trigger frame, drop forward...the works. Then get an LX, vert adapter, parts kit(to fix what few problems you may encounter) and find someone with a cocker who doesn't use the shround and put it on the mag. Mags rof is better than soyders and the internal reg is amazingly consistant so the gun will be very accurate. IMO it's the best setup for you.

thats sad the vm-68 is probably the most durable gun ever built

Shadow221

one of the most durable. the mag is the most durable. They're all stainless steel and the only possible problem is a bad o-ring.

this is funny. a tippmann is too long. a spyder has powerfeed. a mag is too expensive. a vm-68 is too big. i dont think you're gonna find something cheap, small and durable unless you want to spend the cash for a mag.

but i do have a suggestion. get a pgp or pt extreme.

My pickiness is just too much. I guess they just don't make them the way they should. Maybe I'll look into a mag. Maybe I can find one cheap enough. Thanks for all your suggestions.

instead of a mag you could look in to a pt extreme with hopper adapter, barrel and ca adapter which would be much cheaper.
