adjusting my dwell....

ok...i have come across a problem...i dont seem to know where my dwell is..(your thinking "gee..another stupid newbie..) ya ya...ok...but ne ways..i am GUESSING its in the back next to the led light...there r 2 holes the same size...so...im guessing....i have the impulse with the little purple logo on the right side of the gun....ok...well...if i am correct and thats where the dwell is...where do i go from there? set my pressure......then................................ ....so...if someone could help me out..it would help....lol

........ well....... set your preasure.......... then ..... adjust your dwell to get the desired velocity............... and tahts all there is to it you could have also found this out at.............. the impulse faq AT THE TOP

well......i kno that much....i wanted to know HOW to adjust it...i dont wanna fudge it all up...do u just push it? or screw it? or wut? and is that where my dwell is located? on the back?

ok, dwell is how long the valve is open for.
look at the grip frame... on the right side of it (from the back) has a little rubber pad thing on it... you should see little markings on the rubber see the one with the little clock thing? under that is the dweel adjuster thingy i beleive you screw it though... lol

after setting your pressure, then adjust your dwell! to up the fps turn the dwell counter clock (left) and clock-wise (right) to lower the fps

if you have push button on/off, you should have a push button dwell that is located on the right side of your gun on the tray between your grip frame an the body of the gun. you need a very small allen wrench to insert into the hole and push the button.

ok.....there is no rubber thing on the side of my gun....there r 2 holes IN THE BACK...im assumming thats where i adjust my dwell...but im not sure....i think i have to 2000 model...it has the lil purple IMPULSE thing on the top right side.

omg...please read ur manual, go to the smart parts site and view the document about the new V2 boards it will tell u how to adjust.......please at least TRY to find the info on ur own b4 u come here.....sheesh...:yell: :finger: :finger: :finger:

ok, retard, either there is....

1. A rubber strip on the side, take it off and you will see a POT with a screw thing and with dots on it clockwise is lower velocity or yeah figure it out the other way.

2. There are 2 black circles on the side, the left one is down, the right one is up, stick a paper click and you will hear it chrip down.

The dwell is on the right side of you gun, it is NOT on the back, unless the previous owner did some serious remodelling!

well thank u skog, a visual is bettr....but...ya...thats where they SHOULD be....but.....this is wut i have on the side...a lil white thing that looks liek if u put a teeny tiny flathead in it it might turn cuz it has a lil slit...then...a part where it hsows the inside of the board and all the electronics.....

ok the O is the light, the 0 r the hoels im guessing r wut i use to adjust the dwell....and the o is just a lil bubber thing...so....can anyone take it from here?

yeah, the little white thing is your dwell, put a (small) flathead screw driver in it and you can adjust your dwell by turning it.

i presume that you impulse is second hand, as the holes near your dwell are where the rubber cover was held in place, a lot of people seem to forget how easy it is to remove that cover and lose it somewhere when they tell people where the dwell is, they also forget that there is more than one type of impulse board (yes, i know i am as guilty of this as most of you)
