One of my teammates has this barrel. I tried it on mine and it sucked. If you look down the inside of the barrel you can see were the ball actually has a good chance to break. By clicking the barrel and changing the bore size you can definately see were the ball won't have a smooth travel and may chop. Anyway, I thought it sucked.

great review buddy... :rolleyes: anyways, the company has stated that the ball will in fact not break because of the slit in it. I have not shot one, but I just thought you might not just look at it and say it sucks. you say you shot it huh? how did it perform? give details.

and.. im surprised that your life hasn't been threatened, no joke! I asked the same exact question, and ten minutes later i had people putting stuff like

well really that was the worst stuff, but some people are so narrow minded that they wont take other products into consideration. if its not what they have, its no good.

on the lighter side, I thought it looks and shoots good

OK twinkie13, here it goes;

I only shot a hopper and two pods out of the araduis barrel. After getting a good paint to barrel match it was time to chrono.

Anyway, right off the bat (I'd say about the 5th or 6th shot I took) I started to get ball breaks. After running a squeege through it and popping off a few more shots guess what.... more ball breaks. I ended up taking the barrel off and cleaning it. After that it was time to shoot out of it again and I had more ball breaks. My friend says he has to get a good paint to barrel match, then click the sizer up a notch.

I wouldn't waste any money buying this barrel. But if you want to see for yourself, he has it on sale here and pbnation.

No, they didn't call you a FREAK, they said you should get a Freak! :) I've not heard much about preformance, but wouldn't the slit cause inefficiency? I think it's just gonna waste gas.

yes the slit will make it slightly less efficient, but it won't be noticeable, just like ported barrels are less efficient than non-ported ones, but the difference is so small that noone cares (maybe 1 or 2 balls a game)
