yeah, but just choose one or the other, lp and a heavily ported barrel don't mix.

oh, and pinoy, open up your PM box, I need to talk to you.

"yeah, but just choose one or the other, lp and a heavily ported barrel don't mix. "
Why not? I got some 'heavily ported" barrels and Lp and it mixes fine. The porting never is in the first 4 or 5 inches of the back of the barrel... and that is the only part of the barrel that makes direct contack with the ball anyway... why would more porting hurt low pressure? Look at any 1 piece barrel... the back it a smaller bore then the front. The same holds true with 2 piece barrels the back gives all the stability while the front just releases air around the ball for lesser (short barrels) or longer (long barrels) times. Lp... if it gets the ball past the first 4 or 5 inches... shouldn't matter in a barrel.

AS FOR REDUCING SOUND... Black draguns in my experience are just loud suns of aluminum. If you want a quieter gun... get a cocker. I own both. I like them both. Sorry, there isn't much more to say.

You just have some velocity problems, that's all. Basic physics, that's all I can say. I thought it was common knowledge. I can give you a detailed explaination of the physics if you want, but I would prefer that you just look it up yourself.
