tourny people

OK I went playing last weekend and there was these tourny players there with autocockers and intimidators and they were freaking cheaters they tourned around on the count of 1 at the begging of the game and that :pissed: me off! So we go to play with them and they wont split the team up so it was 10 on 8 and that sucked so i was thinking are all of the tourny people like that not playing tournys? ( And i am just twelve and have never played a tourny)

I've never played a tourney either but my opinion is this. Some people are idiots. Whether they play tourneys are they just play rec. I've seen rec players blind fire, keep playing when hit, and play on cuz they say friendly fire doesn't count. Sadly, you don't hear much about those rec players cuz all the attention is focused on the tourney players.

To say all tourney players is not fair at all. Like with most things in life, don't judge a group from the actions of a few.

Most of us tourny players are so used to playing in them that we would try to get that edge.I always start a little after he says 1 cause by the time he says go then your already starting to run.Most teams don't wan't to split there team up since they wan't to play with them.


So to answer your question,yes most tourny players are like that.

I once ran at 1 becasue the ref delayed the count down, call it a false start if you will, the ref yelled at me too:(

If the ref is doing "3,2,1 go" then I usually start taking off on 1, if I'm making a huge run. but then again, almost everyone at my field does that.

No we were counting 1 2 3 not 3 2 1.

Where I play they just sound a horn. There is no complaining that he went on 2 or 1 or whatever.

A lot of tourneys and local fields do a silent count, they say ..... in five......then a horn, sometimes it is a ling silent count, sometimes it goes quick, but it makes you wait for the horn to scream.......

my god. i remember my first tourny. i was soooo nervous i didn't even hear the 10 seconds. I just heard the 3,2,1. i took off. it was a false start. ref didn't care (thank god it was head ref) and then he said 10 SECONDS at 3,2,1. We won our first game too....then got 5th for the day. Ahh....the newbie days.

i rmember my first tourney... 3 man.... first game of the day (for us) and "10 seconds" we all counted... we heard the whistle and everyone went... i sweet spotted 2 of there men... as they were walking off the ref called false start... the ref seemed to be against my team that day...
