Lapco sight rail... [Archive]

Hey all, i have a BSA red dot sight from use on other guns, at it has a 5/8 mount, and it says on the lapco sight rail it is a 3/8 mount but it almost looks like a 3/8 and then a 5/8 underneath it? if not, does anyone know of a sight rail that has a 5/8 mount? thanks.

I am looking at my Lapco Sight Rail right now with a ruler (just for you). It has 2 rails stacked on top of eachother. The top rail is 3/8. The bottom rail is 5/8. So the answer to your question is yes, your BSA will fit on it just fine.:D

My 5/8' mount BSA is mounted on my Lapco rail. You will need to make a couple of notches accross the rail where the mount screws go. You'll see when you try it. It's very simple to do with a round file.
