Hopes for a TL?!

Ok here's the deal. I got a Spyder Compact Java Edition. But it's not a TL gun. One of my friends said it has to have a lock on the velocity adjuster?! So anyway, is it possible to upgrade this so it can be a TL gun?!

I think they sell pre-packaged tl upgrade kits for compacts. It might look kinda funky to have a java compact with black tl parts.

u shold just upgrade your gun now and make it better then the tl. If u do this, ull save money because why buy stock tl parts when ull eventually want to replace them for better ones. Just get a reg, new barrel, bolt, and drop forward, ull have a sweet setup

By TL I meant to make the gun tournament level, not to upgrade to Spyder TL. Anyone know the site where I can get the TL upgrade for Compact?!

u can get them at paintballgear. but u confused me here, i thought u didnt want to upgrade it to a tl but u want to know where to get the upgrade kit? Dont bother with the kit. Go out and buy a pmi regulator, a drop forward, and a bottemline for a little mor money, and itll be twice as effective as the tl uppgrade kit, that only includes a crappy ex chamber, and bottemline

Hmm ok, that makes sense. I guess I'll just do that. All I want to do is make my Compact acceptable in tournaments.
