PB2X starting to "p" me off!

John Amodea asked me to submit an article back in June, 10 days before their deadline, which I did and I express mailed the photos to him ... and I haven't heard one word from him since. Nothing. Not if they intend on using the article or if they intend to pay me or how much they intend to pay me ... well, I'm getting really miffed, especially since I've sent about four e-mails to him, left messages on his answering machine and called the magazine office three times, and still no word.

I'll recommend right now that no one write for PB2X unless you have an agreement up front on when the story will run, how much you'll be paid and when they'll pay you.

By far, Crossfire is The Best magazine to write for.

APG is good for people who don't vist the forums much....
Don't know about facefull....Thought crossfire was a smaller magazine with not that much stuff in it....guess not.

not quite sure what you're talking about Ice ... Crossfire may be a smaller mag, but they pay by the word, which means you can make more writing for them than for other mags ... also pay by the photo. I wouldn't write for APG since it's a Newb mag, and won't get fooled into writing for PB2X again since they don't know how to return phone calls and definitley don't know who to treat the people who write for them.

PSI, P8nt and FaceFull are the only ones worth even reading. PB2x is so full of themselves, APG sucks, and cross fire.... not my bag of tea.

I like pb2x. APG sucks, Facefull is too expensive, and I've only flipped thru one, P8nt is okay, PGI is pretty cool. crossfire sucks.

PB2X is my favorite, even tho they are pretty stuck up, but they're funny. they make fun of APG too.;)

Stop complaining about the magazines.....think of people that have never read a paintball magazine like me...:( ...yeah i know it sucks to be me, but it sucks more living in Costa Rica.....
