how does a cp barrel compare to a freak or boomy?

well topic says it all how does the cp 2 piece compare to a freak or boomy i use a freak and aa on my shocker i heard cps r better but is this true?

nope, use either an AA or boomy on a shocker for best results, I prefer a 16in AA with the right paint it cant be stopped.

I don't like the CP 2 piece, that big exit bore with the "surround the ball in air" stuff is totally bogus. So you have an effective barrel length of 5 inches basically. Not very gas efficent, and not as accurate as a 1 bore sized barrel.

well....most if not all barrels these days are "step bored"...which means that the bore size after about 6" is .700.....

now I myself love my cp barrel set....the whole back is the bore size and there are no "sleeves to fool around with...

also from what I hear....if you have a barrel break or a chop with the freek.,......you can get paint between the sleave and the back tube....

I don't know about that first hand....but if you notice on the selling boards....you see alot of freak sets for sale.....but it is almost impossable to find a cp set for sale....

I think that is because most people who own them love them and don't plan on selling theirs anytime soon....I know I don't

I love CP barrels. And yes, most barrels are stepped bore....so it should have close to the same performacne. I've had great luck with CP.

I have nothing but problems with the freak set and all other changeable bore size barrels. I am getting a boomstick and getting rid of my freak. Ive already sold my inserts.
