a tapeworm is a solonoid optimiser. so is an lpr... an lpr cant be used with tapeworm... an lpr works much better then a tapeworm

both of them are solenoid optimisers, but the LPR is a hell of a lot better than the tapeworm.

also don't say you did a search when most of the info you want is in the FAQ and its obvious you didn't look very hard.

ok, a solenoid optimiser is a device that ensures a constant supply of gas to the solenoid. All solenoid optimisers increase efficiency, eliminate bolt stick, increase cycle rate and reduce kick.

the lpr is not just a solenoid optimiser, it is also a secondary regulator specifically for your solenoid. This means that you can increase the operating pressure of your impulse whilst keeping the cocking pressure low enough to keep the solenoid safe from damage. this greatly increases efficiency and also means that (if you get an adjustable one) you can decrease your cockingpressure so that you are less likely to chop balls.

LPR=not worth the money.

Also if you have to ask what lpr is, than it is not for you.
You have to know how to use lpr to make it effective, it is not just a bolt on upgrade. There is alot of adjusting and what not to get it working well.

I have a tapeworm on mine and it works great.

Just go with the tapeworm

actually the LPR is worth every penny of the cost if you know how to use it properly.

If you don't know how to use it properly but know enough to know that it is the best upgrade you can get eficiency wise then get a preset one, there is no tinkering needed, just get your shop to install it and then adjust your pressure and dwell, thats all there is to it.

but i must admit that if you don't know how an LPR works then don't get one, get a tapeworm, they are good, easy to install and work.
