Most Paint Used In A Game

Just figured id ask for the hell of it. Most ive ever used was 400, but that game was an hour long. I could have made it a stupid pole, but we have enough dumb ones ne ways.Just go bored, figured id see what kinda thread i could get out of the question.

1000 balls in 5 minutes === 3.3333 balls per second. It's possible but it's not very likely to happen. You also have to take some time to reload. You did it with your tl+??? Well, I think you exagereted a bit, but I don't blame you for doing it because I always do it myself :D.

i shoot 9 bps thanx to my trigger job. My reload time is estimated maybe 20 seconds. I think it's possible....and i was shooting from my revvie.

What did u do to your stock sypder trigger to shooot that fast. All i have found to do to mine is place two trigger blocks to shorten the trigger pull, and cut the spring to sften the pull. U know anything else i can do. I heard about sanding my sear, but dont want to do that till i find a good sight that shows how, and i have to fill up something attached to the sear with a solid stuff, i ahev some instructions, but havent doen it yet. U know ne thing else?

I have shot a case of 1000 in an hour. But i was actually shooting at people. The game was 1 hour long.

i put a drop of epoxy to the top of the trigger, where it covers the trigger spring to shorten the return, and i did extensive work on my sear and hammer. Aside from polishing the internals, I beveled the sides of the sear, rounded teh top edge of the sear,and angled the lip of the striker. If you take too much metal off of the sear or hammer, then your gun will turn into a full auto paint blender, so use caution.

U got a site that will give mroe detailed instructions, cause from what u just told me, ill kill my trigger , and siince i want to upgrade, i dont need to waste 50 bucks on another trigger frame

You guys need to focus more of ur attention on strategy (70% of the game) and less on machinery (30% of the game) and quit wasting ur hard-earned damn money! :) Now I know why half of u guys cant afford to eat, geez.

hey my trigger job cost me all of 15 dollars. 1 for the metal dowel, 1 for metal polish, 5 for the epoxy, 3 for the epoxy remover(don't ask, and 5 for a thing of miscelanious grit sandpapers. That is not alot at all considering the end result~ :D

No body has really said that huge of amount yet. TL's is high, but look at some of the pro speedballgames. 5 minutes long and gus have over a thousand round on there back.

10 minute game of speedball, i did manage to shoot about 600 rounds out... 1 hopper (200) and 4 small tubes (100) about 600 rounds... what a mell of a hess....

Close, last week I shot 800 rounds in about 12 minutes. It was Great, I felt like Al Pacino in the last scene of Scarface, when he's standing on the stairwell, "You want some of this!!" With the exception that I lived to play another day.

In one 14 minute game of speedball with my old impulse i shot 1500 rounds (dont ask i was using a huge pack and we were just shooting like crazy to advance then we bunkered the whole other team) My maxflo had frost on it from the co2 lol

I have never shot more then 200 rounds in a game, even in long seige games. I just carry what my hopper holds and that's it, I'm actually kind of proud of that. I personally have never seen the need to shoot of thousands of rounds.

Yeah, thats what we usually play when we have a game, hopper ball, but when u play a game with 10 on 10, u will need more ablls, cause the games last a long time, and ur constantyl wshoointg to move, but i thnk over 500 balls on a rec game is a lot

Ninja, thats exactly what I do. I always only bring a hopper's amount (200) and thats it. Hey, it allows me to save money from having to buy a pack. By the way, this is my 100th post. WOOHOO!

WOW gotta say you guys are keeping the sport of paintball from going out of business! I still play with an awsome pump gun inwhich I can hold my own with you semi's! I figure it only takes one ball to take someone out so why shoot a lot? Thing is distance and accuracy is making my play harder all the time! I usually shoot less then 400 rounds in an entire day! Though one record of mine that I am proud of is someone shot over 300 rounds just at me with his cocker and I killed him in 5 shots.

well when you're laying cover fire, that tends to take up alot of paintballs. I was designated as the cover fire guy, and we made this HUGE push against the right tape..so i'm sitting here laying down cover while 5 guys crawl up the tape...taht's how i used my 1000 balls

Only nimrods shoot more than 400 balls a day (6-8hrs) of pretty hard gaming. If you shoot more than 1/2 a case as a newbie you better learn how to aim before going back out.
If ya shoot more than a thousand balls in day you're just pathetic and its nothing to brag about. Even laying down cover fire we play 5x5 or 6x6 teams and never get remotely close to 1000 balls. If any of us did that we'd be the laughing stalk of the year.

Damn straight. I dont know what u do for 600 hors, but with only 400 paintballs, tha mans ur oonly shotting a ball every minute,and i find that hard to belive. How do u play a good game if u only take 5 shots?. You must only play like 3 games, and no one must move ino rder for u to not take ne shots. In a real game, people should be moving around so much that paint should e flying everywhere. And waht about a speedball gaem?. I think the problem is u guys dont play hard enough if u only shott 400 balls in 8 hours of play

Exactly, i dont think the people he plays with has balls, so he dont shoot none. It s almost imposible to shoot that little without the games being boring, espsecially if ur palying for 8 straight hours. 400 balls is ok for one game, depending on what type it is, where ur playing, and what ur shooting for, but definetly not for an entire day.

It's all a matter of playing style, nobody is a "nimrod" for shooting to much or to little. I tend to shoot conservitavely because I'm just not a high ROF type player, if someone sticks their head up I'll take 2 shots instead of ten. I don't tend to think it makes me any les dangerous, I have games that I elimenate 4 out of six players on a team with under 75 balls and there are people who could do it with much less. I'm sure it can be a much different story in tournaments but I play recball and it works for me.

Lets say there games last 45 minutes, and they take 15 minutes betwen each game, so theyd end up playing 8 games. Thatsh 50 balls for everey 45 minutes of play, whihc is kind of crazy, but im gonna get off this kids back now, because im not an expert on using paint, so u nevr know how they play and stuff.

About how u eliminate 4 out of 6 people with 75 balls, that is what a good paintball game is like. That means people are movin around and actually taking chanes and really playing a good game. Those are the types of games peope should be playing with rec games, thatsh why under normal circumstances we play hopper ball, so people always have paint left tp play another game, but when we play sppedball, captue the flag, or huge games with 10 on 10, u need more then 200 balls, and in tournanmetns, they ned a lot to acutaltl surive in the games. Buty, ur right, it is all part of persoonal preference, but i think the 400 ball kid is a littel extreme here.

well, look at this way, he only shoots 40 or 50 shots a game cause he either gets eliminated early, or he sits around with his thumb up his Arse until the last few minutes of each game, and then he just jumps up and Blows his Load.

I tend to play conservatively also, but I still blow through at least a hopper every game. Games at our field usually have a 15 minute time limit, and 15 or so minutes between each game, so, in order to play all day, I have to sit out two or three games.

As for going through paint ... It's part of the game. I'll lay down cover fire. My earlier post about shooting 800 rounds. I was the right flank. Rest of my crew got cut off, so I flanked the other team on the right, got well covered and just opened up on them. I had teammates trying to move up the center to capture the flag. My mission was to keep that flank so occupied that they didn't notice the guys coming up the center. It worked. We won, 600 balls was a small sacrifice.

(I was wrong in my earlier post, I shot 600 rounds. the Hopper holds 200 and I went through four 100 round pods. Please forgive me for the Misinformation :eek: )

Well in a woods game here,one field 100 balls a game is alot of paint,In another field we play 100 is hiding or camping till the end,but in about 5 hours i shoot 700 a game in woods,Lets not even go too the speedball thing cause the Impluse lays out alot of paint if I use it.I try a game today this morning and came home suckers where playing you take 15 balls only out too the field,Make them count well it sucked big time most people where out before they got hit.I try it 3 times and now I am typing this stuff lol.

i shot about 20 people i only got shot in the hopper the ankle and the hand(by my team mate)so obvieously you dont need a gun that shoots 13bps i have a PMI-Piranha vtl g2 and it works just fine. I shoot 7 bps with it.

I don't know about one game, but I know of someone who said they used 4500 paintballs in 5 hours with their Shocker and I kind of believe them(they usually use about a case in that amount of time. (They get serious discounts on paint, because they play on the field's team.) They were playing on speedball/hyperball fields (mostly hyperball). He reloads in pretty much every game he plays.

I've used over 2,000 rounds in 1 game.LOL.I might be a nimrod. But it was a woods tournament. The prize was 15 hundred$ and 2 cockers for first and 1,000$ and one cocker for 2nd place. There were over 20 teams enter. I am a back player,cover man whatever but. The game lasted 2 hours,8 man teams. It was fun as he!! we won 2nd place. I was the next to last person to get out on my team and their team had 4 guys left.

Myself, probably aboot 600, playing with my friend's mag. LOL, I once had somebody go through about that much just on me (or, rather, the backside of my bunker). It's kind of a funny story. I'm playing recball, and suddenly, I realize that I'm the last one left on my team. There were still three guys left on the other team. Two of them, I don't know what they had, cause they basically sat behind their bunkers. The other one had an Angel. (It should be noted that this was only like my second time playing on an official field, playing with a 100% stock Shutter.) I would have thought it would have been very scary, but, this kid did NOT know what he was doing. Every once in a while, I would pop up and take a few shots at him, many of which came very close. Wasn't too long before I started breaking paint, and I didn't have a squeegie. Anyway, every time I would lean out and shoot, this kid would wait until after I was safe and sound behind my bunker, come out, and absolutely plaster the bunker. I had a pretty decent view of the other two players' bunkers, and neither one of them was moving. I would just sit there and keep an eye on the other two, knowing exactly where the Angel guy was by the constant sound of his gun. I was debating between just sitting there, on my guard, waiting for him to run out of paint, or tring to bunker the idiot when he stopped to reload, and then taking out the campers at my leisure. I never had to make the choice, because it wasn't too long before, to the surprise of all of us (nobody more than myself), the only OTHER player on my team (whom none of us knew about) walked into our base with the other teams flag. I was one happy kid. I later looked at the exposed side of my bunker that that kid had been hosing, and that thing was COVERED in about an inch thick layer of paint. WHY?? They could have just all bunkered me at once, or waited for ME to run out of paint, which wouldn't have taken long, since I only had about 100 rounds left, and didn't even OWN a harness at the time. Oh well. I know that kid felt stupid, all that paint wasted and not even a kill to show for it, and he LOST.

You are crazy shooting 1000 rounds that fast how much money do you spend on paint. The most ive ever shot was 500 in a 20 minute speedball game. But iim not proud of it. Actually i was kind of shocked when i got off the feild and relized how much i had shot and that needed to buy more paint.

Well i have an 8+1 and i got a 300 round hopper off of ebay but it broke the next week. My tubes hold 150 also i carry a little 3 guppy thing on my leg that carries 120 in each pod also some of my teammates threw me 4 of their pods cause they were getting over runn. Man if u use brass eagle u r gonna be shooting alot of paint cause every 2 u shoot u get a breake.
