Prelims: 8-0
Semis: 4-0
Finals: 1-2

First they lost to SC Ironmen, then they were up like 5v3 on Strange...one of Dynasty had their air tank leak or something...so then it's 3v2 in dynasty's favor...then a strange player makes a nice shot and it's 2v1 in favor of strange. I left as soon as Dynasty lost their 2nd game to strange....I think Strange won it tho...because Strange won their first game, they won their second game vs the ironmen...but time ran out so they didn't get points for a flag pull or hand....and they beat dynasty....dynasty beat GZ their first game bad....plus strange was jumping up and down all crazy when they beat dynasty as lasoya (with beer in hand) yelled "i hate those guys"

Strange was doing some hardcore camping thru the day....GZ was up 6v4 on them....they put 3 in the back standups...then 1 in the middle taco in front of the middle back standup(actually i think it was a laydown) They basically put up a 4 man defensive lock...GZ didn't execute very well...and Strange won with all 4 of their guys left...and strange never went past their own 50 cept to pull the flag

during the semis strange was playing lanche.....with liek 35 seconds left (gee....8 strange, 3 lanche...strange camps till 1 minute left) strange runs up the field, all 7-8 of them, to grab the flag before time runs out....there are 3 lanch left. a strange player runs down the field takes out 1 of the lanche players....then keeps going and shoots at a second lanche player....all the while the first lanche player that got hit (obvious he was out) continues to shoot at strange players...so one of the strange players shoves the lanche player....wasn't sure what happened....strange was saying that the lanche player was obviously out...then by playing on was a 2for1...which eliminates the last lanche player....who knows....lanche didn't even make the finals.....rocky was sick or something...i heard keely said that he had a 100 fever or something

same thing...strange sat back ALL ****ing day against SC ironmen in the finals....like 2 ironmen left...like 6 strange...strange FINALLY moves past their own 50 with like 35 seconds left....ironmen hold on long enough...strange eliminates all of SC...but doesn't even pull the flag cause they camped so much

same thing with dynasty....dynasty was up 5v3....strange sat back the entire game...dynasty moved up to finish the job...ollie made some great front moves at the 50....but then his cover man at the 40 blew a leak in his tank....and ollie got lit...then another dynasty got lit....suddenly it's 2strange vs 1 dynasty....

lasoya was *****ing about strange camping....oh well....do what it takes to win....

ironmen didn't play very well.....they beat dynasty in the finals pulling a "strange". just sat back...all sunday SC would either try to take the 50 early...go down 3-4 guys...then lose....or play REALLY conservative....and wait teams out.....

overall it was a great tourny....i think trauma won again....keely watson was on the fields taking pictures during games smiling and being hot (she is good looking in real life...great smile)

philadelpia eclipse was very impressive also....

SC was my no 2 choice, I'm just sucking it up for predictions.

Strange took first, SC Ironmen second, and Dynasty third. I was very impressed and supprised that Lockout made the semifinals. That is something they have not done in a while.

The Ironmen will be seeded with Strange as one and two. I dont know their exct scores so I dont know which is seeded where. We will see in October though.

Trauma took all 5 (4 has never been done, let alone all 5), hopefully they can bag cup again too.

Trauma has said many times they're going pro next year. I think they have the talent to play on sunday in all 5 events in any division.

Back from AC....

The boys played great in the prelims, if u were there u know they simply rocked. In the semis they had some AIR problems wich lead to presure, velocity, and all out chaos...but they still did great. This was Trauma and Stranges event though good job guys

PB....I noticed during the Strange/Dynasty game in the finals someones air line or tank blew a leak in the middle of the game....and they were having trouble at the chrono....

They played GREAT during the semis....the game against GZ was great...they rolled them in like 2 minutes...both teams tried to take the 50 off the break...and Dynasty had the better team..great moves at the 50.....I am kinda disappointed....teams like SC/Strange took advantage of teams like GZ and Dynasty by playing VERY conservative.

Dynasty was the BEST team at AC...no doubt.....but if they had watched strange more during the day....they would have noticed Strange was not aggresive...I think the fact that Dynasty was so confident worked against them. Because they had the number advantage late in the finals game against Strange(and SC Ironmen the game before...who they also lead at the end but)....and they moved up too fast trying to finish the game out...Ollie made some GREAT moves against Strange....but when one of Dynasty's players had air problems on the right side 50...Ollie was stuck at the 60 alone with no cover on his one side....I was watching....he was in a great position to take out Strange...the problem was Strange was so well entreched he was getting lit up from 3 different bunkers and he didnt have anyone giving him cover .....he was squirming like a mouse trying to stay alive.

Alex got hit WAY to early trying to take the 50....I mean....Dynasty sacrificed WAY too many bodies trying to take the 50....

GZ had the same problem vs strange. Up 6v4.....

Teams that are playing aggressive and have the numbers advantage should win...but it was obvious watching GZ and Dynasty that excution was not there...and they were rushing their moves.

GZ should have won their game...but they never took the middle...tried to slip up the tape...and started losing guys on the opposite side of the tape.

Strange would had not done as well playing how they did if the other teams had executed better. If you were there and watched the games you'd agree. Dynasty was getting it REALLY bad all day off the break tho. There wasn't a game I watched where they didn't lose 2 guys off the break....if they had only waited a little bit longer...and been a little more thoughtful about how they pushed up...they would have won....Strange KNEW Dynasty would try to finish the game out by pushing the 50....so Strange just camped it out....layed down fire....made a couple of good shots....

1st-Aftershock,they had new players in AC so they probably wern't used to eachother

2nd-SC Ironmen,they've been on a roll

3rd-Strange,pretty good latly


I don't think Dynasty is the best anymore.People say their great ,but they win LA and that's it.Last year Shock should have won Cup and don't argue with me on that.

We're not getting into an argument over who should have won the cup last year. It doesnt matter.

Anyways, LA was a little fishy (Dynasty did practice on the fields before the tourney...). They are a team made up of very very good players. The problem is they dont play as much as a team, so its easy for teams who play conservatively to just pick them off one by one (SCI and Strange).

That is really unlikly,but that would be sweet if they did.I think Trauma will step up to pro at cup and take that division too.:| They'll get 90 percent of their Am points and then win cup and take the pro title.


So that means Kapp right behind Trauma.:D

Dynasty is probably a team on and off the field. They had some gun problems during the semis and anyone that was there knows if those hadnt have occured they would be sitting on top. Dyansty will take the cup and the year.

Aftershock is another great contender. They had Marcus back and Todd with them in ACm but loosh said it, they wenr tused to each other. The sunday before AC Todd was playing with avalanche not Klamper. If Marcus and Todd stay with shock it will be interesting but i have a hunch that they will be playing with dynasty at least todd and very likely marcus, maybe not as soon as the cup but next year.

I think shocks reign of being cup champs is done. Yes, I know this is "their event" or whatever, but I dont see it happening.

Dynasty is a very good team, and all the guys are down to earth. But I also agree they arent the best anymore. Hopefully SC can up their game just a bit more and be back on top. They've done some amazing things this year, hopefully they can keep it for cup.

The Ironmen still have a few tricks up their sleeve. One less since Ollie went back to the kids, but they still have something, as they showed in Chicago.

Dynasty is the same as they always were. They play a do or die game. It works most of the time. But teams that play less agressive just pick them apart. So we'll see if they adapt for the World Cup or if their 15 minutes is past.

Ive read Numerous reports that Trauma will not be attending cup. They have locked up the series points wise , and becuase of the wacky way that the NPPL is running cup (espcially for the ams) they wont be able to make it, so while they have won all the am events they wont have a perfect season, ive also heard rumors the dogs and shocktech will alsonot be attending. Im of the belief that the NPPL/PSP is screwing over the teams just to make a few extra $$$

when i say shock i was reffring to Shocktech factory and i what i meant by NPPL getting extra money it has nothitng to do with the teams as per say, but the stupid X-ball exhibtion taking place at disney, that is forcing the AM teams to play in a standalone event, and pushing back the Rookie Nov and Pro team prelims to thrusday instead of friday.
The am 10 man teams are getting royally screwed they have to play all 8 games in one day (TuesdaY) and play finals on wed, on top of it they are asking the am teams to stay and ref the rest of the tournmnet

Yea that was ****ing lame man....ollie made a great move to get to the 50...he had 2 strange players he could have taken out...but when the dynasty play on the snake leaked ollie got lit up...it sucked....everyone was oooohhh and ahhhing as ollie made the move to the 50...and all you hear is "pospspspspssppsspsppspspspspspsssspspps" as the air leaked(or blew). Ollie got hung out to dry...it sucks....im pissed...dynasty shoulda won....no goat for ollie...

This is actually the first time I've heard of equipment being one of the leading causes for a team losing a tournament, especially at the pro level. Sucks to him, and sucks more for WDP's Angel AIR sales.

That's nothing....we got one ******* in the Am division who tried to take the 50...1 problem...when he dove into the bunker, HE FORGOT HIS GUn...fricking dropped it while diving into his bunker...then got shot in the back of the head trying to go back and get it.

Then we have ******* number 2 in the Am division who tried to take the 50....and dove the INCORRECT way....his gun landed on his air fitting, and his macroline snapped.....gotta love it.

No idea what happened to the Dynasty player....I was on the other side of the field...I just heard the leak....

single harmonised motion spring...Conquest's are definately better systems than the AIR, for sure.

Im not saying the AIR doesnt have a lot of potential. But Its really a lot of frills. I dont have time to check how many shots I have remaining or scroll through a menu. If Im playing in a tourney, I should know my gun well enough to know exactly what efficency Im getting, and then a pressure gauge is all I need.

WDP needs to learn that making things with batteries isnt always the best way to go.

Yea, AIR is definately a gimmick....just look at your PSI gauge...you know roughly how much you have. No time to scroll through an LCD screen. They refill their tanks after every game so that shot count pretty useless.

The electronics in the AIR has absolutely nothing to do with the actual function of it. It's still a spring reg, just has the normal spring gauges replaced with an LCD readout, plus other "nifty" (ahem, useless) things.
