View Full Version : Which would you guys rather have? RAT or LCD

Ok guys I am in a dilemma whether on choosing which of these guys guns to buy. Here is what one guy offered :

Weir Rat Impulse #4
Vision Eye
68/4500 crossfire w/ loc socks
FULL Freak Kit -

$850

Or

2k1 Angel LCD
Full Freak Kit
2 Volumizers - Low rise

$850

What would you guys choose? and why

LCD, because I don't like impulses... They just don't feel good to me, I don't feel the quality there, they feel like toys to me... If there was a third choice for a matrix select I would probably go for that... but LCD's are nice too...

Matrixes have a lot of leaks don't they? I had gotten offers for matrixes but also heard that they leak like a motha

I haven't seen any leaky matrices ... it may be because there are a lot of o-rings though... if there is a leak it is pretty much a given that it is because one of the many o-rings is damaged, its an easy fix... I have never seen problems with it though...

I'd go with either the Impulse or the LCD. :laugh:

But seriously... it's a tough decision. The Weir is a lot more custom and will get you more looks. Plus it comes with the tank. Anyway... I'd probably get the Rat... just my personal preference.

I mean ... I like the Angel and all - the name, the quality, the rep. But it doesn't come with tank and I think the other one is a good deal. Im thinkin of takin the other deal with the impulse and throw it on ebay and probly get 950 out of it ;]...You guys think i can sell that for $100 more?

Im not a fan of impulses either. They are tall ;]

no, i think your getting a fair deal at 850

i would but a new select matrix and get a tank with the 125 left over and some more you can scrounge up

I wouldnt get a stock matrix with the budget I'm one since matrixes kind of suck balls out of the box. I'd have to get the cash to get bolt kit, lpr, blahblahbalha

I like my LCD much more then I ever liked my rat, it's just less crap, plug and play.

dude orings dont bust on matrixs that much, if you dont want a matrixs just dont get one

I like my LCD much more then I ever liked my rat, it's just less crap, plug and play.

Mine didn't FSDO like your Richey....so I can just plug and play with my RAT. (Tho my macro fitting leaks...which has nothing to do with the gun)

LCD is kinda useless....it's a nice "toy" to have on your gun...but it has no effect on how it shoots. It's a matter of feel....

personallly i hate LCDs. i cant stand ir3's either. ive only shot one angel id maybe consider, and it was an LED. the angels just feel to big to me, and they are balanced worse than a fat man on a balance beam. (IMO) but impulses have their own flaws as well. just shoot them both if you can, any angel or any impulse, and decide from there.

Yeah, I mean who could ever want a game timer, or a shot counter so you know how much paint you've used so far in a day, or to know their real BPS instead of making up some BS number that will sound good online. It's now useless, you'd be all over it if the Impulse came with one.

Angels not balance? To big? This coming from an Impulse owner? Angels are much bette balanced and much shorter, and I'm not judging on other peoples guns, I've owned both.

Hm maybe I won't get both heh and just save up for something cooler or better. The rat is tall but the LCD doesn't come with a tank or anythin :]

tall....hmm....if you consider a half inch "taller" than ok. and believe me: i measured. and angels feel heavy as hell. richy, no need to get antsy now
