I've been using Adrenalin paintballs for the past few months, the only problem is that there fricken expensive, even when I find them online, after shipping they turn out to be over $70.00/case(same price nearby shop charges.

Basically I'm looking for some good qulity paint around $50/case (+ or - $10) for a medium bore(all american 14'' alluminum to be exact. Breaks on target, not in gun(don't we all want this)

Some info that might be needed:
Gun is a low pressure cocker.
Barrel is Smart Parts All American 14''

All replies are appreciated.

What is the best paint (around 40 bucks) that is cheap and for a medium bored barrel (.689-.691)

AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR DIRECT HIT! IT ROLLS RIGHT OUT OF MY BARREL AND HAS A VERY THIN FILL..IT RUNS!!

What about PMI Premiums?? I heard they were good and medium bore sized. I saw some at my local sporting store and saw that they were 44!!

I rejoiced, i thought i could just swing by there and grab a case that fits my barrels and is 40 bucks, but then i looked the next week and saw it was a case of 1000!!!! F ME!! I still dunno if they changed it or what not. i should call them

but waht paint is good, cheap, breaks well, thick fill, good colors (or white would be good cause one of the local fields makes u buy they're paint and i could jsut bring my own paint and if it had a white fill they wouldn't know :D)

all suggestions welcome...thanks:

(I would like to use DH, but i have 5 barrels for my spyder adn they are all .689-.691) And the impulse barrel im getting is a AA which is medium bored..i was thinking about the freak so i woudnl't have to worry about this, but then what would i do for my spyder!!

Thx in advance.

AllOleander, I don't know how you can say that Direct Hit has a thin fill. It is one of the thickest paints out there. I don't think you know what kind of paint you were shooting.

Hey SuperNick, have you ever heard of a bad batch?

Anyway it was a 20 round sample from Tony at PBC. The thin was very thing, cause actually what i was doing was shooting the paintballs on a piece of paper for a backround of a paintball colage i was making for art class.

I shot BigBall, Marbalizer, and the whole sample bag of DH.

The DH was the thinnest (pretties fill :D) but the thinest.

Anway somebody PMed me and said I probably got a bad batch and said they would send me a sample bag. If you can send me a sample, I would appreciate it. Just PM (http://64.4.22.250/cgi-bin/linkrd?_lang=EN&lah=286e08096067905694e93a70598d6408&lat=992303592&hm___action=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2epbreview%2ecom%2ffo rums%2fshowthread%2ephp%3fthreadid%3d8350) me and we'll work it out.

Thanks. Anyway the question still remains, a good quality paintball w/ thick, easy-to-see fill and is under 40 dollars. (And also is medium bore sized: .689-.691

Here's what you guys have suggestioned so far:

Direct Hit = $40 (But they are too small. they roll out of my barrel)
PMI Premiums = $44 (Is this right?) How are these compared to 32* Competition?
32* Competition = $35 (Are these good?)

Please give any information on any of these paintballs. (ie. fill thickness, fill color, shell color, break in barrel?, break on opponents?)

Also give me a few places I can get them..Thanks

AllOleander

Does it still break well on opponnetts well tho?

Does it break in barrel?

And what how much is team colors paint and is the fill thick/thin?

Hey in trauma...were you on PBC..? I remmeber having some conversations w/ you about Tru FLight barrels. My PBC name was [xtract] before they started charging, so I don't use it anymore.

Does this sound like a good plan:

For rec ball or practice, I'll probably use:

- 32* Competition ($42)
- Direct Hit ($40) -- Probably not tho, i have med. bore barrels-- this is small bore
- Nelson ($42) -- Probably not tho, i have med. bore barrels -- this is big bore right?

And for touniments:

- 32* Team Colors

BTW, i was looking at Team Colors and they sell paintballs w/ red fill!! Isn't this illegal at all paintball fields?!

Anyway, i was wondering, has anyone seen blue/white shell, white fill? Can you customize? or just have to pick from their combinations??

PMI premium is $44 for a case of 2000 online.

You can try RPS Big Ball ..ive seen them for $40 for 2000 on some sites

Yah, i actually use and like PMI Premiums.

I have used Bigball, and i hated it. it bounced so much!! but now i hear that its owned by a new manufactor or the new RPS really makes it good..

Any opinions on this new bigball?

no why would it be paint is paint

AllOleander

Well I assume that most fields dont like red fill cause it could be mistaken for blood and such, that if someone did suffer a severe welt that was bleeding, they would want to know what was blood and wasn't.

anyway, all red fill is banned from the fields around me

i was just curious

alot of the pmi stuff is good never tried the direct hit and the 32 degrees are some pretty good balls if you ask me.32 degrees has good fill and medium bore fits alot of barrels

pmi premium
not the gold paint but the regular pmi premium
it has a new shell that is more brittle than other paint. breaks on contact
will not break in barrel of low pressure gun
works fine in my high pressure 98 custom so
the fill is like a mix between toothpaste and a couple drops of water.
45 bucks a case at http://www.paintballgear.com
