yes it does as far as i know. You basically take out the small air screw under the gun, between the gas through and the gun. The you replace it with a new "grub" screw they give you. The you take out the screw in the front of the gun, and put a lil gun oil on the threads of the eclipse solonoid optimizer. That will make a air seal, which doesnt allow the air through. Then screw it in so it is flush with the gun. Don't make it tight., if it becomes tight they say to call eclipse.

I read on the smart parts website that when installing the tapeworm you need to use lock-tite. This is the tapeworm install web site. http://www.smartparts.com/TapewormInstall.pdf

Im not sure if this is how to install the Eclipse solenoid optimizer though. Does anyone know for sure?

yep, the instructions are pretty much the same, if you want to be sure then go to wolverines FAQ at the top of this forum and look at his eclipse aggressor review as he includes all the instructions.

the only thing is that if the instructions say to use loctite use BLUE loctite no matter what the instructions say, as that way it won't be as permanent should you want to upgrade to an LPR in the future/ get any leaks in the future
