Right now I am using the stock ASA, and a 68cu/3000psi nitroduck tank. When I put the tank in it does not seem to want to go in all the way, and when I look at the tip of my tank, and at the interior of the ASA it just does not seem big enough (long ways), and so I will get about 10 shots or so, and then It makes that horrible "machine gun" sound when your out of air, I then need to re-cock, and I will get another 10-12 shots.
I found that if I put quite a bit of oil into the ASA, this will solve the problem for as long as the tank is in the marker, but I do notice a funny smell after say 30 shots, and it just seems to come and go, or maybe I just get used to it after the first few whiffs.

I was wondering what is a good replacement ASA for it, it cannot be any shorter than the regular one, as my gauge barley clears the screws, and if I had my choice, I would perfer more of a "forward" than a "drop", and, looks don't matter price does, my parents are pissed I spent so much on my marker as it is =/
Thanks in advance.

I would play it safe and get a new ASA

I donno buddy. I have a 68ci 3000psi nitroduck tank and it works fine on my E-2. Have you tried taking off the forgrip and seeing if it can screw straight into the verticle asa? if that works than you will know its the bottomline asa that needs replacing.
