that in general, pump guns are more accurate than semi's?

I think they're slightly more accurate, but that the impression that they are more accurate comes from the fact that you've got to make every shot count on a pump and so you shoot more accurately and become better. So basically it's the guy using the pump that's making it look so accurate.

I used to fight with a pump. It was more acurate, but lacked the range of my spyder. it also lack several other qualities. but pumps are more efficiant.

Pump guns are mor accurate because of the type of bolt that they use....Pump guns have an open bolt verses the closed bolt of most other guns...

no, pumps are closed bolt as opposed to open bolt of semi's except the 'cocker!

Yeah i think there more accurate becouse ure taking more time to aim opposed to shooting 10 times in the guy general direction and hitting him 2 or 3 times. U have 1 or 2 shots and have to make them count.

still, I'm trying to find a small, semi-auto side arm since I like sniping and forward rushing. Problem is, with my pump, I can't run behind a bunker and let off 9-10 shots fast enough to kill 5-6 closely packed guys. Instead, by the time i get my second or third shot off, the remaining guys behind hte bunker have seen me and blow the crap outta me. I'm looking at getting a PT Extreme, Professional or Enforcer, but as of yet can't decide. What do you suggest?

1) pumps aren't more accuate than semis their isn't much of a difference. it just the player knowing that if they miss their screwed.

2) there isn't a differecnce between open and closed bolt accuracy. dont belive me go here and be amazed: http://www.warpig.com/paintball/technical/paintguns/balistic/closedopen.shtml

3) if u want a good side arm go with the pt extreme from 32 degrees.
