Just wondering if anyone has their NPPL rulebook handy. BECAUSE.. I was playing around with my Timmy 2k2 and set the trigger so light that it seemed to bounce. Seemed is the key work because I'm not sure.

It doesn't bounce becuse of the usual kick of the gun ect. Its more like the trigger bounces off my finger and fires again. If I'm moving my finger at the time its more like a a nervous twitch than a trigger pull but sometimes I'm just shooting faster than I expceted too.. maybe I'm just not used to the speed of board but damn.

OK now the real rules question. Does a trigger pull mean you have to have a noticable move of your finger or can the very slight vibrations your finger makes.. causing the ultra light trigger to "bounce" off of it be considered a pull? in other words how short is too short?

Straight from the rule book
5.21. The definition of a trigger is the moveable lever or button that comes in contact with the finger. The contacts of a switch are not a trigger. A trigger pull requires an exertion of force by the finger on the trigger and a release of force by the finger on the trigger during every firing cycle. Markers may fire at any rate of fire, and may shoot any number of paintballs, provided that it fires in semi auto or pump mode only, which means that no more than one paintball is discharged during each firing cycle.

basicly if the onyl way to shoot thegun is tap it, then it's good, if u tap it twice cause of bounce then well ur just retarted, all u have to do is w/o tuchign en thing but the trigger make it shoot 1 ball

hmmmm....when you say RT you mean automag...right....cuz i dont think the tippman rt is NPPL legal.....because you can hold your finger in one spot and let the trigger bounce....according to the rules you must apply force then remove force...not hold your finger in one spot....even sick triggers that you just wiggle your finger on is still apply/remove force type triggers.....but i may be wrong

yes, i am talking about the mag's ReTro valve...it is legal because only one ball comes out with one trigger cycle...this is different then the tippman's response trigger because it fires a ball on the pull and one on the release...

"If you bounce, you will be bounced"

That said, most any RT setup that you can manage to fire only once *seems* okay.
