Hey guys, I've used old marbalizers and they were good, and old other stuff, but, recently i took a paintball of each of the following, this isnt that accurate, but:

JT Elite
JT Maxim
View Loader
Banana Balls
Marbalizers
Worr Competition
Worr Domination
and some other red stuff*

I only took about 1 or 2 of each of these, and I put them in this little clear case, and after a few weeks, every ball was deformed except the WORR paint, I know the rest prob got deformed because the case i put them in, but anyways, theres my results.

Umm last game I played half my friends shot 5 month old paint. Of course it was hard as a rock also. I would say PMI Premiums would alst the longest thanks to their advantage shell.

i had a bag of 500 diablo dusk sitting for around a month, had an opening the size of a fist i guess.
worked fine except for the ball breaks and horrible unconsistency.

I had about 300 unused 32* Team Colors paintballs that I had in my hopper one game and put back into a bag for storage for 5 months. I used them just last week and they seemed like they shot fine... They were resting in the same position the whole time too

ya everytime we shoot paint it seems to be fine, but i guess if not stored correctly, although it may shoot fine, it is maybe deformed :freak:

I shot 2 month old Marbs and Dusk last time I played and both shot just fine. The marbs where really hard, but i didn't care my mag shot both paint really well. I also got to try out Severe storm that day and that is the best paint I have ever used. Severe RULES!

Hey today I was at my local shop, and I was a box of RPS paintballs and it said Marbalizers, but it was a different box, and it showed a different shell color, is it like a new Marbalizers?

If stored correctly, then definately Premiums. I had a case of them sitting on top of my freezer for around 10 months, and apart from a few more bounces, shot fine. Not a single chopped ball through around 800.

Well lets see, I've got about half a bag of Zap paintballs that have been just sitting in a storage room outside since about April or May, maybe I should go try them out.

Ill be willing to bet that the people on the reciving end of thoes "really hard" paintballs did in fact care =o)

When I first started playing at my field the rule of no outside paint was idiotic to me.. I was mad i had to pay thier price whatever they charged me.. however.. after being shot in the lens and having it shatter because some guy was using "old paint" in glad for that rule and will not play with anyone bringing outside paint.

I am sure that they where not hard enough to crack anyones lenses:rolleyes: That would be pretty dam hard. I think someone tends to exaggerate a little:P

Yeah Im sorry, Your right, I probably imagined the whole thing after getting off the floor and the ref running towards me covering my face as he escorted me off the field.

I still have the lens and next time I get ahold of a digital camera ill take a shot for you. Its shattered just below my right eye in the shape of a cresent, and off the end its got one crack that goes all the way to the ege of the mack near my forhead.. and another off that to about where my nose bridge is.. it wasnt enough to have the lens break apart on the field, but if i was shot with another one durring a double tapp, it certainly would have.

The second ref that grabed his gun and escorted him off the field told me after that he said his paint was in his garage for about 7 months, 5 of which were through the winter season and he "thought" they would be fine.

but yeah, Rebel32flanker is probably right.. The guy was probably shooting cotton balls and I probably cracked my lens some other time and just didnt notice.

I got some rps polar ice balls last winter and i shot a few in my backyard, come spring i was walking around and geuss what i found. A perfectly round, hard polar ice ball and it we got some heavy snowfall at times so polar ice is the winner.

I left a bag of opened paint in my garage all winter, and still shot it fine, it went threw warm cold it all, and still didn't break

Mine where two months old and they where bought at the end of summer and where kept in my air conditioned room. I am sorry to hear what happened to you Telnets, but you can't relate me shooting 2 month old marbs to some guy shooting 7 month old paint that was in his garage through the winter. There is just no comparison there, especially since that guy nearly blinded you and I didn't even come close to hurting anyone.

I would never do this, but I hear some people around my field, SC Village, freeze balls for fun, and during like walk on, they shoot people and it hurts like hell.... altough it doesnt pop.... it was probably a rumor, but anyways i tried freezing like 5 balls just for fun to see how they would turn out, and after a few days they just indented and they still pop if i smash it hard enough..... maybe if people froze some balls, they probably dry freezed them.... i dunno im just bored eating my 99 cent big mac yum yum... :eyes:
