Man, my new Jt 5.0 is chopping like mad and sometimes the bolt doesn't recock. I had to quit 3 games in a row before i finally just left b/c of the chopping.
Any you guys know what to do. I tried to adjust the velocity and it didn't help. I got a 12v revvy so that's not the problem.

not to be a **** but you need to sell the jt and get a dragon i have one if you need one. it often that people tell you that you need to get a 100 and up barrel system a 60$ hopper a 200 air system and 50$ balls well you paid what 250-300 for your gun and with the upgrade money listed alone you could have got three black dragons or put the upgrade money togeasther with the money you payed to have close to 600 dollars and thats enough to buy a high end pro gun so like i said sell or trade i have A BLACK DRAGON LCD AND A SPYDER FLASH but the jt is not the way to got especially for newbies or rec players

I would suggest (if your using an all stock JT) using PMI Premium paint. You could be chopping because of a paint->barrel mismatch. I used Diablo Midnite in my 3.5 and let me tell you it looked like it was puking up the paint. Ive shot about 4 cases of Premium thru my excellerator and have yet to have 1 break. Other than that id suggest cleaning all your internals FULLY, oil it up, chrono it, if it still chops give jt a call.
Maybe you got a factory defect...usually i hear nothing but good things about the 5...its the 6 that gets the complaints :)

ok, do u have the new 12v revys cuz the hopper wount fit down all the way and u need to oil the feed port and really push it down
also whoever was flaming the jt. its stock barrel is way better that the black dragun and ANY good needs a hopper and an hpa system (which u can find for 100) also u are being an ****

If the hopper's feed port wont fit into your gun id suggest sanding it down

Actually, it was my brothers JT. He called the customer service and they said it was the bolt and the ball detent. They sent him the new model of both for free. Then he was missing another part (little plastic thing that goes inside the spring to increase velocity) and they sent him that too.
Yea, he now knows about the 12 v revvy problem. He broke the neck off trying to squeeze it in and had to get a new shell.
Also, the PMI tank wouldn't screw in. He had to use another brand.
Says it shoots good after all that, but I wouldn't want to put up with that s**t.
