I just bought a co2 regulator for my TL+
Confused on how it is suposed to proform??
IF I turn the adjustment screw so it reads around 500psi and then rapidly fire off 3-4 shots it starts to drop to around 200. It still recocks. then when I stop it goes back up to 500 sometimes reaches 700psi??

The other mods I did was drilled out the asa adapter and but in a softer hammer spring. Still has stock valve and bolt.
Is this how they work?? How do you adjust the reg??

Thanks

it's called dropoff. When you shoot quickly, then the pressure in the tank drops. thus, when you stop shooting quickly, the pressure goes back up. What kind of reg did you get? Adjustment of the reg depends on what reg you got.

what your experiencing is known as co2 freezing of your regulator, and drop off of your tank... if your gun is still chronoing at a decently fluctuating level, you should be okay...

i've seen my tank drop to about 300 psi, then go back to 800

It's a Thunder pig (cmi) r-2000 co2 regulator.

Is "drop off" normal??
Where do you start with adjustments?

The regulator instructions state:

"It will not freeze during play. It has integral safty design for high pressure spikes"
