I went paintballing the other day and i realized that i hate a lot of other players...especialy the ones that think they know strategy and command you to do stuff that will get you killed, no one likes that. not to mention hes like 400 lbs. good lord how can you even play paintball if youre not i shape i clown on him all day even though hes a lot bigger then me and could potentially kick my *** i am still a better player then him so it works out, man i hope you guys dont have the same problem

you want to know what i REALLY hate...
it's a hipocritical remark on my part, cause i own an electro.. and i can spray paint like anyone else can..
but what the hell is with the damn players that just sit there with an awesomely accurate paintball, and just rapid fire waiting for you to pop up and get hit like 4 times...
i think it is a cross combination of 3 items..
LACK of REAL skill. (marksmanship mainly)
LAZYNESS.
Ref's NOT enforcing the OVERSHOOT rule..
I'm getting really pissed that these people will fire a hopper or so at one person, simply buy getting them to tuck, and then volleying paint at them... it's purely lame to me. I don't do it, I refuse to do it...

It is required pretty much in tourneys that you do that ...

Don't Refs enforce the "Three shot rule" at your feild?
They should. If you shoot them more then three times, your out and they're out. Thats fair.

If someone is dumping a case of paint at you. Dont stick your head out. If you get shot it's more to do with you being careless than him lacking skill. A bunker has more than one side. If you are catching a solid stream of paint off of one side, then look out the other side and shoot at him. Last resort pop up over the top. Dont stick your head out into an incoming stream of paint It's an incredibly basic skill, but it's also incredibly important. If you keep coming out the same spot, you make yourself an easy target. I was once in a bunker and kept coming out from one side, then the next, then the top, and after the game someone came up to me and asked "Were you one of the 3 guys in that barrel bunker?" though i was by myself in that very bunker. You can make yourself a lot more effective doing this simple trick. And even super guns stop firing, and when he stops firing that gives you about 2 seconds to snap shoot, because it will take 1 second for him to open up on you again, and 1 second for the paint to reach you. Make the most of your two seconds, pop a few shots off and get the hell back behind cover. If your aim is on the mark, he'll have to duck back and you get the upper hand, making him pop out to take quick shots at you. Popping out with an electro lets you get more shots off in a shorter period of time, but even a M98 can get 3 or 4 shots off before having to duck back. It should be very rare for someone to eliminate you head on, even against a super gun you can defend yourself

yeah, i hate those guys. they always boss around the newbies and sometimes ruin their first outing if they don't catch on quickly enough. i had someone do that to me my first game, but now i don't listen to anyone that i don't trust. that was like 2 years ago and now i know who does it so i have to warn the newbies about them.

Arggh I hate those people too. When people try and force their tactics on newbie it basicly signs their death warrant. Newbies (and most everyone else) need to be able to be flexible, When you have an ironclad strategy and something doesn't go "to plan" you can gte screwed real quick. If you outline only a basic plan of attack and trust in the skill of you teamates to improvise and adapt it all just seems to flow better. Well that's my philosophy anyway.

I personally don't want to play night games. Too much friendly fire and paint flying around. I prefer the games where you don't have to shoot at anything that moves.
