Which is better, an expanshion chamber or a regulator. I have a Spyder Java compact 2 in 1. I wanted either a 32 degrees expansion chamber, or a Spyder compact regulator upgrade kit. Which one would be better, and why?

I'm sorry that I can't say whether the 32* EC or the SC reg would be better to get, but I do know that, in general regulators are better than ex. chambers, if you can afford them.

If you want really good consistency, I'd reccomend getting both, the problem with just having a reg is that once the gas gets past the reg (space between reg and valve), the C02 will expand, and increase the pressure, beyond what you'd have if you were firing constantly, this can be extemely dangerous and cause balls to fly over 300fps(limit). I tried this with my cocker and the pressure climbed from 300 to 600(at which point i disconnected the CO2 for fear of blowing the micro line). So if you have to make a choice go with the expansion chamber, my brother ran an expansion chamber to his spyder and never ever regulated it. Regulators are good if your running compressed air, or if you have an expansion chamber before the gas reaches the reg. otherwise the reg is worthless. UNLESSS your willing to shell out $90.00 or so for a Palmers Stabalizer.
