I just got a macro line and want to know if you have to use teflon tape with the fittings or are they already airtight? When you put it in the fittings and pull it is supposed to stay in right?

Despite there appearence, as long as you push the microline all the way into the fitting it will be airtight, teflon tape might be good on the threaded portion, however I reccomend lock-tite. YES, when you push it in and pull it's supposed to stay. If you want to take it out. Push the upper metal portion down and it should come out.

It looks like the micro line, is not airtight, but it is, and no you don't need to use teflon tape.
