Slick Shot ram

how many of u guys think that this upgrade is really needed that much, and how well does it prefrom compare to the stock ram?

Mine was definitely worth it. I got mine on a whole different hammer assembly and, hammer, and hammer cap.

I stripped the allen hole in the back on the hammer cap, its now just a circle. my friend made it even worse. I really needed to get in there to clean it, o well......

So I decided to try the stock ram for a little bit, luckily i brought the slick shot with me too. the stock worked horrible, fsdo tripled, and i couldnt get fps above like 150 (because the brass hammer is so much heavier.)

It worked great the rest of the day, BUT (this doesnt have anything to do with the ram) my maxflo was creeping all day, if i left it alone for too long it would rise above 300, and it slowly started getting quicker, up to the point where it WOULD NOT stay at 200 it would just rise right back up to 300 and I just ripped the tank out of there.

I cleaned the maxflo as much as i could last night, once i got to a certain point I was stuck and couldnt figure out how to get further into it, so i cleaned and regreased what i could.

mine is good....i don't have anything to compare it to...but FSDO is barely there.....1 shot and im good to go

the slick shot ram is certainly the best aftermarket ram out there, but it is not needed as such.

if you find that you get FSDO then i would suggest going here (http://www.goecities.com/theskog/fsdo.html), you will note that the slick shot ram is the last on the list of cures for FSDO, don't spend the money if you can cure your fsdo for free

My FSDO was not cured with Slik Shot, but it did help. I tried all of the suggestions from Skog's link, but that did not work for me. :(

For me it was worth the $26.99.
