Okay...so my solenoid is blown (probably), which place would be better to send the gun to for repairs, The Matrix Center or Airtech themselves? And when they replace a solenoid, do they replace it with the newer stronger ones like in the Push-buttons? Last question for now, would putting another Reg. besides the Centerflag (i.e. Max-Flo) be beneficial to the gun? Would it severly decrease the chances of blowing another solenoid? Pardon my newb questions, but I really like my Matrix and want it to work.
Thanks.

sending your gun in, you will get the newer selenoid that currently resides in all the newer matrix models.
the reason why your selenoid blew. is probably because you over pressurized the selenoid. If your current inline regulator is working fine (not creeping or spiking erratically) then changing out to a better reg will only give you a change in shot to shot consistency depending on what reg you go with. If your reg is fine, then the selenoid must have blown to your own user error. Just to be on the safe side it's always good to get a reg that can either accept a gauge, or get that asa from TMC that has a gauge port for regs that dont have gauges. A Properly working inline reg will decrease your chances of the selenoid going again, not really they type of reg you have.
are you sure that your selenoid blew? often times people clean out their selenoids and re install it improperly. or the selenoid gasket needs a little lube. sometimes a trinity that is set too low can lead to leaks, and psych out the owner into thinking the selenoid is blown
either way go for the newer selenoid.

well I thought I had something like this already put in the faq?!? but I'd just call up the matrix centre and tell them your predicament. they usually do something like that for free if the solenoid did indeed go boom. you must have had a first generation matrix becuase I don't see how after going through probably 2 regulators it still blew if it was a newer one. but just check to make sure the solenoid is in properly. I'll check the faq if I did put something like this in, and if not I'll figure out how to make sure the solenoid is in properly.
