I'm looking into getting a RAT Impulseand I had some Q's.
1) is the vertical redg better that the max flow?
2) what is first shot drop off?
3) is there any other site that sells RATs besides e-paintball?
ok there they are I'll put up another message if I come up with any more Q'.

just edit this post with new questions or reply to it
the vertical maxflo is better in that you don't need to do the oring trick....it's more expensive....but either way is fine....mine is fine
FSDO is when the dow33 is on your hammer assembly....after dow sits for a while it gets "sticky"...so when you fire the first shot...the hammer "sticks" a little and your first shot in turn doesn't go as far since the hammer stuck...you fire once...your good....some people have it to varying degrees.....some shoot once and are fine all day...some get it every 2 minutes...depends.
if you clean your hammer/ram assembly and your solenoid you should be fine
i cleaned my hammer/ram assembly and i went from a 50fps FSDO to a 20 FSDO....i haven't touched my solenoid yet...just take care of your imp...and it will take care of you....it is very rare to get an impulse that has FSDO that just won't go away like richey had it
ok, first of all, the vert and horizontal regulators that you can get on the impulse are max flo's, its just that they are mounted differently.
I find that the vertically mounted max flo is much better as it allows for easier upgrading in the future and reduces the height of you imp (from 13" to 10")
second, for everything you could possibly want to know about FSDO go to the link below in my sig.
third, e-painballoutlet.com are the only place that sells RAT's, but they are not the only place that sells custom impulses
