omg my friend had an a-5 and i was like o yeah thats pretty cool ya know not a bad marker then the next time i saw him he had a rt on it and it was shootin 20bps without anychops or skips i couldnt belive my eyes, he would just hold down the trigger and it would shoot full auto for as long as he did at atleast 13bps. it is amasing!!!!!!!!!11

Whats stoping the a5 from shooting beyond 15bps. on the tippmann site it says if can shoot beyond 15bps. I know it's mechanical, but thats it, everytime it cycles it feeds a ball right? so if it's cycleing at 20bps then it's feeding 20 balls per second.... am i missing something here?

the cyclone feed only spins the balls around into the chamber so fast until it cant go any faster, which is around 15-17bps. 20bps is unlikely unless he has a really whacked out mod that noone here knows about and could make millions upon retailing it. if this is true, get a patent, display prototype upon reputable company, mass produce, sell, make millions. This is why noone believes you.

Here's my feelings about shooting that much paint:

Full auto is for people with bad aim (and jerks)

The tipmann a-5 is for spraying paint, nothing else

Shooting 20 balls a second for a whole game takes up too much paint... it's just wasteful

Better 1 shot 1 kill than 1500 shots and 2 kills


Play like a real man, use semi auto :)

whatever you can chose to belive me or not i dont care but i know what i saw. i dont think the crono lyes also there all you do is shoot fast into the crono and there will be a second number next to the fps that tells you the bps. he wasnt shooting that fast for vary long maybe two seconds at the most but a lot of the times when he got up there the gun would un cock its self if shot it for to long.

I got my A-5/rt to 16bps and chopped about 10 balls in a row. Took it apart and cleaned it out (a real pain to clean chops without taking the feeder off), tried again got to 15 this time before chopping about 10 balls in a row. I will bet the house that you are exaggerating a weeee bit when you say 20bps!

OMG people, count to one like one one thousand, think of firing 16 times in that second, those chronos are full of...bolonga, they dont say how fast you shot a string of paint, with my cocker it was tellign me 15 bps:eek: , but in reality in a string of paint i could probably only for 7-8, that emag vid i have seen it many times, that guy probably hit 23 for a second or two, he was consistently doing 18, and other gun not on full auto isnt shotting 15 bps, exceply the a-5, no one can fire 15 times with out fannign or walking the trigger. The a-5 cant fire 15 bps, im tellign you, the rt vid with the a-5, well he was firing probably 15 in a sec, but he couldnt keep ti up in a string of paint so im done with these i can fire 90 bps with my spyder and co2, without a motorized hopper
