Threading size question

I have a Tippmann 98c. if i take a 1/8 Male by 1/4 Female Gas Fitting and screw it directly into the valve can i attach an expansion champer or bottle to that, and not need the vertical bottle adapter? or do i have the wrong sizes?

I'm not sure of the sizing. You can buy what your talking about at Paintball Kingdom and it will work. Here's the link:

as long as the male threading is NPT ( i think thats what it's called anyway), it SHOULD work. just dont screw it in too far, and dont get teflon tape in the valve.
