Hey guys, I've noticed something with my chrome accessories on some of my guns. I've noticed that when sweat is on the chrome, it turns black. I don't know if this is caused by chemicals that had some how got on the chrome stuff or what? But on my cocker I had a chrome frame, when I would practice snapshooting and such in the house, I wouldn't be wearing gloves. Since my hands would be sweaty, the frame from where my hands had rested would have dark almost black smudges. I thought it was just the frame, but I have another gun that uses one of those chrome Black Magic regs, and when I practice with that, I've noticed it turns black also from my hand resting on it.

Any of you science guys know why this is caused and if/how I can fix it? I don't like dark smudges on my chrome "ice". Werd.

Lol Thx

Dude, you're wrong. Silverware tarnishes because the silver in it reacts w/ the oils on your hand and w/ the air around it. Chrome is silvery, but it is not silver. Unless you got the super expensive solid silver accessories. Next time wash your hands before you play w/ your paintball gun. (JK)

its just like chrome accsessorices on your car, they get dirty you pholish them, go to any store that sell auto supplies and buy some chrome pholish, and follow the directions on it, same thing happened to my cocker but i pholished it and it looks great
