If a Matrix can accept angel grip frames the would if be possible to put an IR3 grp on a Matrix? would the Matrix board fit inside it? sorry if the seems like a newbiean question but I am still learning about the Matrix.

Trying to decide if I want a matrix or a Nasty Imp

I'm pretty sure it won't. if I do remember correctly, the matrix board is longer then the angel board. and as well the triggers are different and it's difficult to modify an angel trigger when you don't have experience (like an airsmith would). I think they're trigger frames are different sizes as well I'm not sure about that one though.

Thanks, that would be kinda cool though if you could put an Ir3 frame on a matrix... they're kinda comfy to hold:D

There also isnt enough room in the space frame to mill a spot for the trixes solenoid.

ok, well first off it's not that hard to mill the frame to acept the board it's more a pain in the *** then complicated

but getting it to fit..now thats tricky

Like I said earlier, there is NO room to mill a spot for the solenoid. Unless you want to have the back part of your solenoid hanging out in the open (since you'd have to mill straight through the gripframe), space frames wont work.

room wich way

Up and down. You have to know how the solenoid sits to understand what I'm saying.

it's not as complex as ud think to lengthen a frame, it just may end up looking well, ugly, if u don't do it well, or if u don't anoe it

the matrix selenoid does not end flush with the bottom of the body, where the trigger frame touches the body. The space frame must be milled to accept the excess selenoid sticking out of the body.

I am not to familar with the IR3, but im sure that getting the selenoid to fit in the frame will require quite a bit of modification. and possibly at the expense of structural integrity.
