the sight on my hornet is not accurate. it shoots about 2ft lower than where i aim at a distance of 25 to 30 feet.

-the accuracy isn't a problem, at that distance, the balls fly right on top of each other

-Is there any way to raise the aim w/ the iron sights

Yes, i bought a cheap, red dot site designed for airguns and mounted it ontop of the rear iron site. It'll probably break after getting hit once, but oh well :)

Here's a piccy, although you have to copy/paste the link i think;

yea, but i want to fix the iron sight. i already have a 4x scope i took off my pellet gun, and a laser dot sight. the scope is cool, but i hate the laser sight because it dont work on bright days and you have to replace the stupid battery all the time.

I dont like the scope because it takes too long to home onto the target w/ the zoom view.

the iron sight is perfect (when it works) because i can get onto the target in a fraction of a second

well, that site is just a red dot site for an airgun. No zoom or anything, it just create's a little dot on a plastic screen, and works the same way as a regular site (i'm sure you know), except that it can be adjusted very easily with the knobs. A scope, imo, seems somewhat redundant for the exact reason you mentioned. By the time you get the guy in your sites (no pun intended) he's already gone.

What's more, with the site on (not a scope) it looks somewhat more menacing, like a C7.
