hessians, i think you are just confusing the poor kid

anyway, "dwell" is the amount of time that the bolt/hammer stays forward and so the amount of time the valve stays open for.

this basically means that "dwell" is the amount of gas used to fire the paintball.

in practice all you need to know is that it controls velocity.

the dwell is situated on the right hand side of an impulse at the top of the grip frame, it will either be under a rubber cover (V1 boards) or it will be 2 buttons (cricket boards)

in order to set up your impulse you adjust the pressure on your maxflo regulator until it reads 180psi, then you adjust the dwell until you chrono about 280fps, then you simply use your maxflo to "finetune" your velocity.

note, although some upgrades offer an increase in performance that will allow you to lower your pressure, don't, simply adjust your dwell as that way you will improve your efficiency instead of making it worse.

How about i dont care what people think If i wanna spell wrong I will spell wrong I could care less if your laughing at me cuz i cant spell and project paintball which is Not a team but The biggest paintball foundation in costa rica and many local companys and wgp and Sp might also help sponser demos and such, And they want to becasue I am helping spread the sport of paintball and not being affraid of having People Like u telling me that i cant spell becasue I dont really care Not was I right about what the dwell was?

basically the dwell is a velocity adjuster, but there is more to it than that if you want to get really technical

Dude, u suck. Leave the kid alone. In costa rica, he speaks spanish as well as everyone else I would think. Just becuase hes english is bad...How would u fell if u were trying to spell words in spanish and u sucked ba too and some guy comes along and says u suck. Leave him alone. I bet u cant spell or have good grammer in Spanish. It just sickens me how many of u people make fun of other foreign guys trying to speak or spell english.

BTW I could never speak another laguage I teied to learn Japanes but I only know like 1234 and hello and easy stuff then im going to take spanish class next year to.


Anyway yes well the dwell question has been answered already but lets go back to dwell.

put joor psi at 180 then set your velocity USINT THE DWELL to 280. u may have to adjust your reg to fine tune it.
