Ok heres the deal. I have a tippy m98c and everyone knows you need a new barrel for that. I have it narrowed down to 3 candidates. 1.) Smart parts Tear Drop. a)its great price(58$), b) I see good reviews for it, c) its a good length, and d) it looks cool. 2.) Dye Stainless Steel a.)Expensive(price=quality?) but I found it for 79.99 on sale at pbgear.com,b)i see good reviews for it, c)again it looks cool. and 3.) J&J 2-piece a.)My friend recommended it, b)Its a tid bit expensive for my blood =( and c) it looks pretty neat. I need advice. Although these barrels may be good, I understand that certain ones might work better for the 98c despite cost. Please help me out here!

DYE stainless steel those shoot great but, are a bit on the heavyside. Their also all chrome so they look pretty tight. They shoot the same as the boomsticks.

Yeah, tear drops are all alumuin so they are pretty light. Also about the DYE SS it doesnt add that much weight its hardly noticable to me. Have you thought about getting a DYE ultralight barrel. Their basically the same thing as the boomstick but, all alumium so its lighter.
