I am VERY frustrated with my tippy 98c I bought a crapoly sight from fred meyer and now when i tried 2 screw it to my gun, it striped! the was less then 5 mins after i opened it, it was probably my fault but it could be to the fact that it was a $15 dollar daisy sight ment for air guns. Well ne wayz, i striped the part where you screw it in to, it is not the screw its self. so how do i fix this?
Please dont make NE cheap shots, "haha! a daisy sight!" or tell me to get a new one.

i dont quite understand what you mean. you say the screw itself didnt strip? or did it? and what sight is it, or does it have a name? if it was ment for air guns it would work on a paint marker, because its a air gun.

to clear things up a bit,
The screw isnt striped, but where you screw it into is.
Yah i know that a paintball gun is an air gun but it said "pellet gun".
and it said a daisy red dot sight.

You just have to have it re-threaded. and you will most likely need to use a larger screw. A machine shop can do it, or if you have the tools and right dril you can rethread it yourself.

If you are able to you might be able to put the screw through the stripped area. I dont know what it looks like exactly but i hope it helps. You find a small bolt are nut that will fit and is able to work on the gun. If not i can only ofer using a type of tape specifically electical tape. Sorry if that didnt help but i tried my best. Good luck!
