You will get one good fill. I take mine into a local dive shop where they filler up right to the top. Most other place I only seem to get about 2500 psi max. If anything buy an adapter for about 50 or 60 buck. The dive shop should take care of you. Make sure they cool the tank after the fist fill then have them top it off.

thats why most ppl i know of including myself... fill up every 1000 psi... for one, you get longterm use out of your scuba tank, and you don't waste air... most people who uses scuba tanks for the first time, does this: when they use all the air in their nitro tank, they use all the air in the scuba tank (wasting 1000-2000 psi of air). if u fill only when needed, and every 1000 psi of air, that scuba tank will last 3-4 complete fills... not 1 fill, but 3-4 fills.

a full scuba tank is aprox 3200 psi so if you have a 3000 psi tank you should get 2 maybe 3 full fills. see the reason is this I think a scuba tank is like 20 cubic feet of air when you fill a tank you are drawing psi from the tank but most importantly volume this is why the pressure of the main tank goes down after each fill and does not stay at 3200 so without a ram the highest amount of pressure will be a little less than the main tanks psi because you are taking volume also
