I just got an expansion chamber for my m98 and to install the vertical adapter you have to remove the the hose from the valve and it's glued on! There is no way you can remove it! Why would this be?

You can remove it. It's just really hard. It's supposed to be that way.

Yeah, its blue loctite,,just heat it up,,it WILL come off, i did a friend of mines Tippy,,When you put it back together, make sure you put more on there or teflon tape cause there is alot of pressure there....

umm.... correction
blue loctite is medium strength 242 you can break it with a just an open ended wrench by hand.

tippmann's factory uses white PST 592 it requires just a wrench

but when you get the expansion chamber kit they give you red 271 it is high strength it can be released by hand but it hard

just try somehthing that will break down the loc-tite

ok,,i was thinking of the conversion kit for a vertical feed bottle. Anyway, its still blue loctite, you just gotta put some balls into it ( not literally ) and turn it. Heres a pic to help everyone understand,,,its going from the valve to the xpansion chamber....

I called tippmann and those *******s wouldn't give me an answere (sorry I'm pissed off). All they did was tell me to send the piece in and have them look at it. No help whatsoever. And I need my gun cause I'm going on a 2 day paintball camping trip this friday!

if your saying all I have to do is turn it harder. You are wrong. I turned it as hard as I can. I got my dad to turn it. I even used a hammer. And all it is doing is ruining my valve.

what if I heat up the plastic valve and cool the end of the hose at the same time and make one expand and one contract.

It only needs 242 lbs. of pressure to break the seal, use a larger wrench for better leveragel.
