47ci crossfire, what's up with that?

What's up with the 47ci Crossfire, it's alluminum, not fiber. other than being slightly more durrable, does it do any thing for performance?

the only thing that is effected by the material the tank is made of is the weight. the steel ways slightly more. steel tanks also only need hydro test every 5 years instead of every 3 years like fiber wrapped tanks

Actually I've found that when you fill steel tanks they heat up more and don't fill as much.
