i got my mask and 20 oz co2 and all the stuff.
but i sold my gun.
i am gonna have around 200 dollars.
i already got a revy.
a mask.
20 oz.
so what is a good gun for around 200 people are saying a 98 custom with a good barrel.

If your looking to upgrade go with the 98custom. If you want a gun that will kick *** right out of the box go with a pirahna sts g3.

I agree Spyder or Piranha there are many more upgrades availible for them, my first gun was a Tippmann and it is the first and last Tippmann that I will ever own. I have banished it to the garage.

Spyders suck, there he worst guns even for entry level they break too much , and half there $h1t is in plastic. Go with a Model 98 custom, i own a totally tricked out Rt micro mag, and my friend owns a really nice tricked m98 custom with all the upgrades: just to list Lp Kit, rear cocking, RT kit, Palmer stabilizer, powerfeed adapter, double trigger, and theres alot more. But the closes thing i have ever felt to the Automag RT trigger was this one, cause its ajstable making it perfect to fit your needs. GO TIPPMANN best entry level gun there easy, oh yeah get a nice barrel, do me a favor get the new JT barrel and tell me what you think of it =)

some arent great i just think the custom is one of the best blowback after you do trick it out say you trick out a custom to the max and a shutter to the max the tippmann will be better cuz electro kit repsone expansion all that.

it depends on what you like. it would be hard for me to play well with a tricked tippman 98 (or any 98 for that matter) because i dont like the way it feels and i am not comfortable with it. all the upgrades you said for the 98 could be on a spyder too (except the RT) but you have more of a selection with aftermarket parts for spyders not just tippman. IMO i think a shutter (what i own) would look much nicer but SOME people may like the way a tippman looks (i am not one of them)

For one thing spyders dont suck for their price. They are a lot more upgradeable than m98's and what are you talking about half of the "$hit" in it is plastic? It's almost all metal. The only things not metal are the o-rings. I say get a spyder and slap a boo-yaah on it when you get the money later. (This is after you get a new barrel and other important upgrades however)

Uhm, why's everyone still giving him advice on which to buy, HE'S ALREADY BOUGHT THE GUN! That said, I'd go with a 12" Lapco myself. For the price, you can't beat it. It out-performs my Freak with paint that fits it nicely, and was 1/3 of the price.

Personally, my suggestion is to not play paintball for a couple of weeks, work your @$$ off, and get $325 total so you can buy an AutoCocker! You'll never need another gun, and it shoots much better out of the box than a Spyder or Custom 98 EVER could with good barrels. It can also run on CO2. You can get one cheap at http://www.paintballgeeks.com

Assuming you can't get the money, I'd go for a Custom 98 with a good barrel. DON'T get the Flatline. I have a model 98 with a flatline, so I know what I'm talking about. I only use it for the woods, and I can tell you right now, it would suck for anything else, like speedball. It's too long, and too hard to shoot in confined spaces. Get a CP, or a Lapco BigShot, or an All-American if you can afford it.

get a jt excellerator, just look at the rating for the excellerator 3.0 it got a 10.0 out of 16 ratings last time i checked and its only 155 at xpaintball.com
