How does the new designs vertical regulator adapter work. You just screw your horizontal regulator into the adaptor or what?

no-- the vertical adapters are made to accept regulators with male ASA threads. If you have a bottomline reg, you can not use it with this product- you would need a different reg.

HOWEVER, eclipse does make an adapter (FRM) that will mount your vertical adapter verticaly. the new model of this is very easy to mount and use. ( the early edition of this was a real pain to mount and still get the tubes hoked up so they didn't leak)

The new stlye FRM are under $50 and will do what you want to do.
