I dont know if this is supposed to do this or what, ive only used a model98c on one other occassion and it was with nitrogen. Anywho on to the question: When I shoot my Model 98 Custom with everything stock and a 12oz CO2 tank, some CO2 shoots out of the velocity adjustment hole and sprays onto my hand. It isnt very much at all, but you can see and feel it. I dont think its made a difference in how my gun shoots(it still works) but Im not sure. Ive only stripped it once and didnt even take it all the way apart(couldnt get the left reciever over the bolt handle...damn little rubber thing).

So anywho, is there something wrong with my gun or is supposed to do that? Thanks

all it is is a little back spray comming out of the thing, it wont do anything bad to your gun , if it worsens, however, put up something to tell what it is dooing

Just put some chewed up gun over the velocity adjuster. Everything will be just fine!

hehe, J/K

I really don't know if thats a bad thing or not, but you may wanna have it check out, cause my gun doesn't do that...

make sure you dont have a cracked power tube(valve), and did you ever take the screw all the way out??

u do know the rubber cover on the bolt comes off, and as for the gas make sure your velicity screw hasn't stripped out your powertube that happend to me.
