The SE is better because it comes with an expansion chamber compared to the STS's gas-thru foregrip. Other than that they are pretty much the same.

I gotta go with the STS, looks cleaner, priced cheaper (at least where I looked). On the field, I've been able to hold my own against Spyders, cockers and mags. But what it really comes down to ... How well you play the game.

I am gonna say the piranha ... very nice gun my friend discovered the better choice when he ordered a SPYDER TL+ and returned it to the online store when he recieved it and saw that the paint had many imperfections in it where clearly someone had sprayed over dirt the piece where the shroud came over the barrel an body of the gun was scraped where the shroud had been put on.... and oh thats minor you say PHUGG THAT!!! I pay 200.00 dollars for a gun it is going to look nice and when he called the store they said "well all the tl+ look that was I think it has something to do with the way they put the shroud on" ...not on my gun thank you I take pride in my gun... and that leave alot to be desired...

STS hands down,Also made in the USA,in terms loose a screw got to ace hardware and get another one

Try both, see what you like, i like spyders, i think they have better parts but it's all up to you

The expansion chamber is nice if you need it, in cold weather. but when it's warm, you may find you don't need it. And, you can get a good expansion chamber cheap if you shop around. I've got an STS without an expansion chamber and have found it shoots as good and sometimes better than the Spyders and other markers with chambers. I wouldn't let that be a factor in deciding which marker to get.
