The only thing you have to do is keep it oiled. That's what's great about Tippmanns. Other than that study where each part goes exactly or you'll have to put it back together not knowing where anything goes. That's about it.

hmmmmm i dont know about any of you guys but i never oil any of those spots. why would you? the only parts you should oil are the parts that move and have to make seals like the bolt and hammer.

Put some oil into your ASA, attach your air source, cycle the marker (without the barrel) a few times and you're set. Also drop some oil down the feed tube to lube the bolt

first mod you need to do on it besides a new barrel, would be is to get some field strip screws. what this does it makes your gun alot easier to take it apart for cleaning, instead of unscrewing those 6 screws.

actualy tippmanns really dont need oiling, one of my friends had a pro lite for 3 years and never oiled, still shoots great. and why would you oil the barell??

You do this to spread the oil around your marker. You do it without the barrel so no oil gets in your barrel.

Congrats! Just dont take it apart!! Its not hard to put back together but when u open it parts fly everywhere and because it opens like a book its hard to peice the 2 halfs back together right. But if u oil it it will serve u well. Great choice!

O i forgot, u shouldnt put oil in the barrel it can corrode paintball shells. And in my previous message i made a spelling error. "Halfs" should be "halves".
