I usually use one of my pumps (WGP Sniper 2) and play games in local tournys and REC games, I don't play with other pump players but with players that use semi automatics etc. If I have to I can shoot ~6bps if I provide cover. It is very effective, and only carry 1 or 2 pods of paint.

because when they can toss out more paint in one second than my whole gun can HOLD, it feels sooooo sweet to shoot 'em out...
there is no greater feeling than to bunker some angel toter w/your VSC ^_^

i use my pump gun because it takes more skill than to just shoot a whole hopper at someone then proclaim urself as being a pro.

pump just gives u a kinda exileration that u don't get from semi play. I mean goggin a guy from 80 yard off with a pump gives a player twice the satisfaction, as lighting up a guy with a semi from 30 yards off... there is also a certain level of skill to pump play that u dont need to play semi or electro it just adds to the fun and excitement level of play

Its faster, more intense, and takes more skills. Plus it only costs me $35 to play at my field for 4 hours, when it costs my bro like $90. Probably the best thing about playing pump vs semis is the agog looks you get just after you bunker a tourney player carrying an Angel.

Playing pump, or even more so stock class, its going to make you a better player. It makes you more aware, makes you make your shots count, etc. After playing pump for long time while not having my gun, I borrowed my friends cocker and it was so much easier to do well.
If I could do it over again, I would have got a pump first and saved up for a tourney gun, that way the year or two it would take to get the money, I would be so much better.
This guy I play with has only owned pumps and he was just as good as me when I started using my phantom and I have been playing way longer than him. I saw him bunkering people which i have never done with my phantom or even seen an chance to.
It also is an easy way to say Im so much better than you with out talking when you get th guys out with high end guns.

It was wierd, last time I played there were just as many pumps as semis! The owner was playing and put aside his electro to play pump, ive never seen that many pumps. there was still the 10 year old with the angel though but at least he didnt suck like most of the other young teens with $1500+ gear.

I play in stock class games for $7 for several hours of playing. There is a lot more movement because people want to conserve their paint and CO2 so there isn't a lot of useless spraying. I also like the idea of getting out from one or two shots rather than six or seven.
